you wake up to the sound of you're alarm, you roll over to turn it off thinking you have a few more minutes until you hear the voice of your mother telling you to wake up. "shit i didn't know she was off today." you whisper to yourself, but surprisingly you weren't alone "who's off today?" suna whispers back. you immediately turn your head "rin?" you say in shock "why didn't you go home?" he sits up "it was late, i was tired, and you fell asleep," he laughs "and i didn't wanna wake you up." "you're joking right?" "nope."

you sigh "my mom is taking me to school today so you have to stay here until we're gone, don't snoop around." "fine, i don't even have my uniform." he sighs "we'll leave early so you have time."

you get up from your bed and leave your room to greet your mom, hoping she wouldn't enter your room after that. it wasn't normal for her to be off but because she's been stressed lately she has been making a lot of mistakes, her boss noticed and offered to give her a day or two off. to your surprise she actually agreed, you make a cup of coffee and tell her that you'll get ready. though she didn't know it was for suna to more time to get his house.

when you got to your room, you placed the cup of coffee on the counter of the nightstand. for some reason you felt awkward around suna, which you've never felt this way around him. "why are you so stressed? if i'm late it's no big deal," he takes a sip of the coffee "or is it something else?" after grabbing your uniform from the closet you sigh "i don't know, i just- i really wanted this. for us to be together, and now i have it but i'm scared? i don't know."

"you're just worried that's all, you're thinking our relationship will end up like the one you had with kita," your turn your head "though you have to remember. i'm not him, i wouldn't treat you like that. okay?" "okay." he stands up and gives you a hug "now hurry up you take so long."

within 10 minutes you were ready to leave the house, you make sure to check your work desk for anything just in case you forgotten anything. "oh, is that the other nights homework? can i copy it." suna says with no remorse, you sigh and hand it to him to copy while you leave the house. soon after your mom calls you down stairs to leave, after telling suna one last time not to look through your room you walk downstairs.

"hey when is your friend taking back their car?" "oh, she's coming to pick it up this morning." "is this aiko's car?" your mom asks "yeah." "why don't we pick her up and drop her off at the house then? so she doesn't have to walk all the way over here." "i'll ask." immediately you text your best friend to wake up, shockingly she was actually up. it was hard explaining to her the situation but she caught on, then you had to tell suna the new plan.

once in your moms car you text aiko that you're on the way and to wait outside, she didn't live far but your mom was feeling generous today. but that wasn't the thing that surprised you, it was the fact she was actually up. in middle school she would wake up a few minutes before her bus then rushes to the bus station, you should know because the numerous of times you had to catch the bus alone.

after picking up aiko you both had small conversation "so, why are you even up this early?" you ask "i didn't even sleep yet." "i should've guessed that," the both of you burst into laughter while your mom tries to understand why she stayed up all night. once your mom pulled up to the street of your house you texted suna to stay in the room and away from the window, "sorry mom, i forgot aiko's keys in my room i'll go get it" you nod your head to tell aiko she should come as well.

when the both of you got into the house aiko flooded you with questions "why do you even need my brothers old uniform y/n?" you walk up the stairs to your room without answering her, then opening the door to show her the reason why. "y/n you did not," she laughs "damn, okay then." she throws the uniform at suna. now that the plan was messed up you had to lie to your mom again, "i'm going now, aiko don't kill him please." "kay." "im serious." "and im aiko nice to meet you." she laughs and you roll our eyes.

when you get into the car you tell your mom that aiko had to use the bathroom really bad and she promised to lock up after, your mom believed it and drove off. aiko was your closest friend, well next to osamu of course, she wasn't really the aggressive type. though at times you were scared of her. now, she was left with the guy you've been "dating" for the past weeks.

"so, why y/n? not in a mean way but what made you, 'suna the play boy' pick her?" she says while walking into the hallway "i love her to death so i just want to know, well i guess to see if you're even good enough." suna grabs the coat for the uniform before leaving the room "she's just an interesting person, she's smart but also fun to be around, she just makes me feel good" aiko laughs "like what? a pussy fairy" suna turns his head and rubs his forehead "it's not like that." "okayyyy, if you say so."

the two of them leave the house with aiko locking the door, all you could do is hope they're both getting along. "damn suna could you drive any slower? you got this nice ass car for nothing, let me drive." aiko says while connecting her phone to the aux "i literally just sprained my ankle i'm taking it easy." "my bad, how did you even sprain it?" "i fell off of y/n's roof.." "you're joking." "im not ask her for yourself, she even had to drive me to the emergency room." aiko couldn't help but laugh, she hadn't laughed this hard since she pushed you into the twins pool.

while they made their way to school you sat near the cafeteria trying to finish homework before class started, "y/n? are you feeling better?" osamu sits down on the opposite side of the table, you smile "yeah. way better" "that's good," you continue to scribble answers onto the worksheet "anyway.. atsumu wants to throw a pool party like the ones we used to throw, you and aiko can come if y'all want but you guys don't have to go." you stop for a second "of course we will go, well more so i know she would want to go." you laugh "okay then it's on sunday around 1 so you guys better not be late." "we won't, i promise." "are you sure?" "positive, now hush i'm trying to finish this."

you two sit in silence until aiko sits down next to you with suna sitting on the other side next to osamu, "so, y/n." aiko says "you owe me big time, i was thinking maybe lunch?" "fine whatever." the both of you start to smile at eachother before bursting out laughing, "are you guys okay now or something?" osamu whispers to suna "yeah, we're actually together now and i slept over at her house." osamu's face went blank "you guys didn't-" "no. why do you guys always assume that.." suna groans.

"anyway, so you all are coming to the party then?" osamu questions "seems like it." you responded with "aiko, do you have practice on sunday?" osamu questions "not that i know of, if anything i could always cancel." she shrugs "okay then i'll see you guys on sunday at 1." osamu stands up and waves, "i should get going too," aiko follows osamu "hey osamu did you do the homework?"

you continue to do your homework until you see a flash coming from suna's phone, you look up at him "rin, delete it." he laughs and takes another picture, you try to reach over the table but he leans back so you can't grab his phone "come on y/n, i barely have any pictures of you." you sit back down and grab your phone to do the same thing, "well i don't have any pictures of you." you two continue moving your phones around so you both can't grab them while taking blurry pictures.

when you finally came to a compromise you sat next to him taking a picture together, "happy now?" you ask him "very," he smiles "you should get going you're going to be late." you check the time and he was right, you quickly grab your paperwork and pens and pack it into your bag. suna stands up with you while you start to walk, his class was in the same direction so normally he walks with you until you get to your class.

though he doesn't know it but little things like that make you happy, it isn't much but it shows he at least cares. even if it's a little bit he cares, and that's all that matters to you.
