I'm Here With You - Ch5 Courage and Bravery

After Harry's quidditch practice he went to the Great Hall for lunch, hoping his friends were there, he took a sit.

He took a treacle tart, smiling, he has been looking forward to it for a few days. As he was chewing he saw a blond staring at him with a smirk then winked, biting his lip. Harry furrowed his eyebrows wondering if Draco's lips were itchy.

He shrugged it off and gave Draco a smile, thinking if he should eat more treacle tarts, he decided he was full and pushed his plate aside.

He looked back at Draco, Draco motioning to meet outside the great hall, Harry nodded in reply.

"Let's go to the astronomy tower." Draco said taking Harry's hand in his and interlocking their fingers, Harry looked at him, blushing and grinning shyly.

When they arrived, Draco positioned Harry to look at him causing Harry to furrow his eyebrows in confusion. "It takes alot of Courage and Bravery to do this, Darling." Draco said deeply yet softly.

"To do what?" Harry asked nervously almost in a whisper, as he felt Draco pull him closer, he gasped. Draco's other hand holding his waist while the other cupped his cheek, and that's when Draco closed the gap. Harry stood on his tiptoes, Draco was kissing him, soft, slow and full of love, it took him a few moments but eventually he kissed back. They felt butterflies, their hearts beating fast yet in sync, they felt all the fireworks explode,  the sun shining making it feel warmer, they felt happy.

They finally pulled apart, taking a few deep breaths, face flushed, they looked at each and smiled. "I like you so much, Potter, I can't even take it anymore. I have this urge to protect you and be there for you at all times, never in my life would I thought I would have cared for someone who isn't me, no one has ever made me feel so selfless." He said in a low tone, filled with emotions, trying to hide his nervousness.

Harry tried to collect his words, as he looked down, Draco held his chin to make him look up, while Draco smiled nervously. "You don't have to say it back, my darling. I won't rus-"

"I-I like you too." Harry said as he fiddled with his fingers nervously, Draco smiled at him then pecked his lips softly. At this point Harry was a blushing mess which was driving Draco mad, Harry was too adorable for his liking.

"I have to go back Ron and 'Mione are probably looking for me." Harry said softly while smiling uncontrollably. Draco nodded and smiled. Harry stood on his tiptoes to give Draco another kiss on the cheek, then left.

After going around the castle with Ron and Hermione for an hour or so they decided to hangout in the library, mostly Hermione's suggestion, which the two boys agreed to anyways.

"Oh no! Ron I left my book that you borrowed, I need to return it to the library." Ron groaned annoyed, then sighed, It wasn't a lie, he couldn't resist Hermione. "Alright alright, let's get it." Hermione nodded. "Harry you can wait for us in the library right?" Hermione asked hurriedly and softly, Harry smiled at them and hummed in reply.

Harry went in and heard voices in the back, as he heard the familiar voice of Pansy Parkinson and another student. "You can do it." Harry heard Pansy say, it was quite muffled, He checked to see what was happening but as soon as he saw, he instantly regretted it.

He saw Daphne Greengrass kissing non other than Draco Malfoy. Harry swore he felt his heart break, he left right before anyone saw him, tears blurring his vision, quickly turning into sobs.

He ran into Ron and Hermione as they looked at him worriedly. "What's wrong Harry? What happened?" Hermione asked in a rush along with terrible worry.

Harry shook his head trying to talk. "I-I j-just want to go b-back to t-the dorms, p-please." Harry said sobbing terribly as Ron wiped his tears, hugging him. "It's alright mate, you don't have to tell us if you're not ready, it's going to be okay, I'm here." Ron said softly as he lead Harry to their dorm room. Harry sat on the bed while Ron sat next to him, Harry laying his head on Ron's shoulder while Ron had his arms around Harry, calming him down.

"I saw D-Draco kiss Greengrass." Harry said his voice breaking while tears ran down his face.

Ron looked furious, he was ready to hurt Draco. "He did what?" He said, rage filling his voice. "Did he just lead you on!?"

"Ron i-it's fine, I just want to rest, please." Ron nodded, still feeling angry, he layed down next to Harry, wrapping his arms around him, pulling Harry closer to his chest.

"WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT, GREENGRASS!?" Draco screamed furiously, pushing Daphne away, earning an angry shush from Madam Pince.

Daphne looked at Draco apologetically. "I apologize, okay? Pansy dared me, it's not like I'll actually kiss you, calm down." Draco rolled his eyes and left, well mostly stomping away.
