I was pacing back and forth waiting until sunrise when a lady came up to me.
"Rebeka Vasquez?" She asked
"Yes?" I asked
"I have a message for you. The hunters have your mother" she said
I stood there and stared at her. I ran to look for Austin. He was surrounded by some people talking over the plan to take the hunters down. I ran right to Austin and hugged him. Tears stung my eyes.
"Rebeka, what's wrong?" He asked
"They have her, the hunters have my mom" I cried
"Im so sorry, we'll get her back. Add a rescue mission to the plan" he said to everyone else
"We'll get her back, I promise you that" he told me while taking me away from the group.
Yes I dislike her sometimes but she is my mom. I just hope we get there in time, I don't want her to be tortured like Tara was.
"This is all my fault, I should have killed those guys when I saw them at my house" I said
"They were at your house? When?" Austin asked
"Before they took you. I tried to get there to warn you, but I was too late" I said starting to cry again
"It's okay, we're together now. I'm not going to let anything happen to you and we will get your mom out safe and sound"
"Thank you"
"Anything for you, love"
"Love?"
"Uh, yeah. I've always had a crush on you" he said awkwardly
I kissed him and held him tighter. He held me in his arms until it was time to go. They already had a rescue plan to save the others held captive so they added my mom to that list.
"It's time. Let's move" the vampire we met when we first got here said
We all loaded up in cars, Austin lead the way to the facility in the middle of the desert. We found it with ease. We stormed the building.
