THE GROUP COULD HEAR THE LOUD and noticeable snores come from the students and adults of Auradon, as they walked outside after shortly just returning.
"They're asleep." Mal justified. "I can't get Ben."
"Or Dizzy or Doug." Evie added.
"I can't reach Jane or Talana." Avery spoke up as well.
"Is that Auradon Prep?" Thomas and Celia asked together, their voices sounding cluttered together.
"Yeah. When everybody wakes up, you're going to love it." Carlos sent a smile to the two children.
The group began splitting up, not that far of course, but worried about different things on their own terms.
"Wanna tell me what that was back at the isle?" Avery came beside her best friend, her arms crossed in question.
"If we're being honest, I don't know." Thea sighed. "It's been happening since Hades hit me."
"Just try to minimize your power usage." TeaRose suggested as her and TJ walked up to them. "Does Carlos know?"
"No. And I don't want him to know."
Avery sighed at her friend's response, she was honestly worried about her. "Thea, he has to know."
"I don't want to be another problem for them to have to fix. We already have enough on our plates."
"Thea, can you please just worry about yourself for once? Play the victim for a little bit?! You might be in danger!" TJ whisper-shouted to his sister.
"Please, TJ." Thea pleaded. "I'll tell him when I'm ready, just please don't tell Carlos."
"Tell me what?" Carlos walked up to his girlfriend and her best friend, looking between them suspiciously.
Thea looked at Avery and her siblings with pleading eyes as she replied. "Nothing."
"Yeah, nothing. Don't worry about it puppy boy." Avery walked off, TJ and TeaRose following behind, seeing the other teens go into the school.
Thea followed behind as Carlos tried to catch up as well.
