'Morning Alpha Natalie,' a older female named Judy spoke with a wave as she held a flower pot in her right hand on her hip.
'Morning Mrs. Judy it's great to see you,' I smiled slowing my run to a soft jog.
'And you as well Alpha I see your doing your morning run I will not keep you dear,' she spoke softly with the smile.
I smiled back as I started into a jog again when I heard her say, 'I remember when I too was that energetic.'
"Honey I doubt you remember the Dragon Ages," a male voice followed.
'Oh shut up you old fossil,' she snapped as I giggled shaking my head at the elderly couple.
About 30 minutes later the pack house came into view my eyes glued to the pack house I hear someone say, 'crap!'
My eyes flickered to where the voice came from just in time before crashing into someone quickly but surely dodged with an about face as i also twisted to the side,' Josh almost took you out just then.'
He laughed ,"that would be the day and a blow to my title!"
'It's going to happen one day,' I stated with a half smile and raise an eyebrow.
"oh yeah I'll look forward to it," he replied with a smug grin.
He doesn't believe me well I will show him. Enforcers all muscle no brains even if he is one of the recommended few that are chosen for the front lines for his undeniable strength means nothing.
They are so confident in their strength and and go in blind without a care just because they assume strength is all it takes to win a war no it may come in handy for a battle but it takes brains to win a war.
I grinned at the thought," I got to say your grin just now... It kind of freaks me out when you were staring at me like that."
I heard Josh say as I pulled myself from my thoughts and focused back on him.
"Natalie," I heard a very irritated Chase yell!
'what,' I replied now irritated as well as I turned and see him standing in the doorway glaring at me.
"Don't what me," he retorted!
'Then don't yell at me,' I stated raising both eyebrows with a pointed look.
"Don't start with me," he barked!
'You don't need to be starting with me,' I snapped back. He can look at it anyway he wants he started it.
" Ahh The joy of siblings well I think I'm going to catch up with the Alpha and join him it was good seeing you Natalie," I heard Josh say but I didn't get to reply as Chase cut in, "well what are you waiting for get inside."
'I was on my way,' I bit out.
"what did you do stop and talk to everyone in the pack," he questioned?
My mouth fell open slightly as I stared at him,' what is up your tail?'
He groaned," nothing I'm just supposed to be sparring right now and dummy up there won't step away from your door and come with me."
'He won't leave my door,' I laughed.
"He turns into a little weirdo when she comes around I mean she even runs at the sight of him," he complains as I laugh hard with my right hand clutching my side.
