I ran swiftly as I brush past not one but two of the traps set off by my brother quickly dodging each one I looked on in disbelief ' How the Hell did he make it through this and I still haven't managed to catch up with him' as I jumped over the moving blades of sliver like hurdles as they shifted in different place.' He must be hauling ass?'
with that in mind I took off knowing that the mud bog is coming up it's almost similar to sinking sand but in mud form and once you submerge yourself in it, it's completely impossible for you to get yourself out of alone because the mud is also laced with wolfsbane not enough to kill a wolf but just being in it is like feeling as if a hundred whasp or more are stinging you at one time as it slowly attacks the skin like a raging fire.
I smiled, ' passing him now should be easy.'
My sight narrowed in on the upcoming outline of the mud bog if I didn't catch the outer line of it, I might even find my own self stuck in the mud because to the naked eye it would come off as a normal firm piece of grounding but once you step foot into it you find yourself almost submerged in deep mud like water.
' There,' I spotted the outline as I looked up and took a good jump to the closest tree limb as I took in how far the obstacle was but not only that to also see how far a certain knuckle head has made it to.
' where is he,' I spoke in frustration as I scanned the area but to My utter shock he was no where to be seen.
Jumping back down I stood at the lining of the bog as I sniffed the air surrounding the entrance and I could tell traces of his scent was still there.
' Dang how fast is he booking it,' I grumbled as I looked at the trees Scattered throughout the obstacle to confirm if the Handgrips were still nailed into them. yes that's right I said nailed to them and all though these are trees, they are artificial trees. Designed to look and play the part as if this area were just another normal outline of the forest that is just a few feet away. Not only does it look real but with the surrounding forest from being built over time it also gives off the same scent so if our pack was ever breeched within this area well let's just say they better hope they know about this place or it will be hell on them. Smiling at the thought of some lame wolf trying to take on my course and getting all matted and tangled up sent little dark butterflies of delight blossoming deep within my soul, but until then I had my brother to deal with as I continued my examination of the course for any type of vandalism.
if he made it past this he will soon be close to the end.
and if he did cross this he may have messed with the handgrips so there is a possibility I could end up falling in.
and if I stay put any longer he may just beat me.
I let out a frustrated sigh as I jump back up to the branch I was once at. The sight of a few hand grips again caught my eye as I readied myself, this part of the obstacle courses focus is on the upper body strength within your hands while in human form if ever attacked by a wolf unexpected the grip strength in your hands would make all the difference when faced with survival instincts.
well if I'm going to fall in then I'm going to fall in but I may just have to move quickly because I can't just stand around!
with that I used my right leg to add pressure to the base of the tree as i jump to the nearest tree within the bog, with out stretched arms to grasp hold of the handgrips. ' well so far so good!' not waiting a mere seconds pulled myself up and leap to the next tree.
