Aurora

It's been 15 years me and Vinnie are now 33 and we have our daughter Aurora who's 15.

"Mom dad I'm leaving!" She says as she grabs her school bag. "Ok bye sweetie have a good day love you" I say. "Love you hun" Vinnie shouts. "Love you guys too" she says before she shuts the door making her way off.

"Damn I can't believe it's been this long, feels like just yesterday when I met you" he says kissing me. "Yeah I know, also today Aurora is bringing her boyfriend over ok his names Jacob" I say. "She shouldn't even be old enough to have a boyfriend" he says. "Remind you I got pregnant at 18 Vinnie" I say. "I know I know whatever I'll be nice" he says. "Thank you" I say kissing him on the cheek.

A couple hours pass by and I had made dinner and it was time Aurora came home. "I hear the door knock and I go to answer it. "Hey sweetie" I say. "Hey mom, so this is Harvey" she says as a tall boy stands next to her. "Hey nice to meet you Mrs hacker" he says shaking my hand. "Lovely to meet you too" I say. They come inside and Vinnie was standing there his arms crossed. "Hey dad um this is Harvey. Harvey my dad" Aurora says. Harvey walks up to Vinnie. "Nice to meet you mr hacker" he says putting his hand out to shake it but Vinnie doesn't budge. It gets awkward and Harvey puts his hand back down.

I nudge Vinnie slightly. "Nice to meet you" he says but at the same time sounding like he wants to kill him. "Ok I made dinner unless you guys ate" I say. "Oh no we didn't thanks a lot you really didn't have to" Harvey says. "Nonsense" I say and we all head to the dining room as we sit down and begin.

"So Harvey how's school going" I say. "Good" he replies. "That's good" I answer. "How did you and my daughter meet" Vinnie says giving him a death stare. "Oh we were seated together in history and became friends" he answers nervously. "Ok well let's get one this straight, you hurt her or do anything at all I will personally dig your grave" Vinnie says. "Vinnie!" I yell at him. "Dad! What the hell can you not just be happy for me once!" Aurora yells as she puts down her cutlery. "Come on Harvey we're leaving" she says as she holds his hand standing. "Thanks for the meal Mrs hacker" he says as they walk out. "Seriously Vincent! Don't speak to me until you've sorted out things with your daughter and Harvey OK I will not have things end badly because that's what happened to me I don't want Aurora to have to pick between you or him because I had to do that and it was hell but I always chose you and no doubt she would choose him so get your fucking priorities straight!" I yell at him standing up as I grab my keys and coat and leave.

I get in my car and drive I decide to just drive through a canes drive they get some food and eat in my car.

As I eat I hear my phone ring but ignore it it was Vinnie didn't wanna hear his half ass apology. I check the time and it was like 3 in the morning. Holy shit did I really sit in my car that long.

I drive home and open the door to see a worried Vinnie and Aurora. "Y/n baby where were you I was so worried I was about to call 911" he says as he runs up to me hugging me checking if I'm ok. "Yes Vinnie I'm fine sorry I jsut didn't realise the time" I say. "Oh and I made up with aurora and Harvey I'm really sorry I was just being overprotective" he said. "Well you gotta let go some point" I say. "I know" he answers.

I hug Aurora and tell her she can go back to bed whilst me and Vinnie make our way to our bed changing. "God I love you so much" he says kissing me. "I love you more" I say as we fall asleep cuddling.
