Luna woke up to the sound of a bird chirping. She looked to the bed next to her to see that Rosalind wasn't there. She got out of the mattress and fixed the sheets and covers. When Luna finished, she noticed that her clothes from yesterday were folded and waiting to be worn, they were clean and looked as good as new. Luna grabbed it then went into the bathroom. She brushed her teeth and washed her face. When she looked in the mirror, her hair was a huge mess. Luna laughed at herself then started to brush her fingers through her hair. Like normal, they started to untangle. Luna was getting ready to braid her hair but then she noticed something was off. She moved her hair around and froze when she saw it. Her hair had a chunk of blood red color. It was just like what happened with the green. Luna was slightly confused but brushed it aside, thinking it was normal.
When she finished changing and using the bathroom she opened the curtains in the room to let in the beautiful sunlight.
She left the room and walked down the stairs, she heard Rosalind's voice and decided not to bother her. 'She's probably talking to Maria about something.' Luna walked to the front door and walked out. There was a nice refreshing air. Luna started to walk around the property. It was huge, there was a beautiful greenhouse with all sorts of plants and there was an abundance of animals all around.
After a couple minutes of walking, Luna heard a voice. "LUNA." she turned. It was Rosalind. Her rose colored long hair blowing in the wind and she ran to Luna. Luna paused in her spot and Rosalind jogged to her. "Wanna go into town with me?" she asked.
"Sure." Luna thought it would be nice to look around. She had never really been anywhere her entire life. "Are we leaving now?"
"Yeah, I already let Maria know." The girls walked to the spot they had arrived at yesterday and stopped.
"Rosy. How the heck are we supposed to get into town?" Luna questioned.
"I-I actually don't know." Rosalind said sheepishly. But suddenly she remembered that when they first arrived she had put her hand out and a portal just opened, so she tried. Slowly she raised her hand and just like the night before, a white swirl pool opened right before their eyes.
"Very good, Princesa." Luna said with a chuckle. "See you on the other side." She stepped into the whiteness and walked. Her body had a light sensation and she felt as light as a feather. But that only lasted for a second. She could feel her feet touch the ground. And within seconds she heard Rosalind's foot land.
"So where are we headed, Rosy?"
"No clue, but why don't we just walk around. Maybe do a little shopping!" Rosalind said excitedly.
"Oh gosh, okay." Luna said, rolling her eyes.
"I can feel your eyes rolling Luna." Rosalind said, walking slightly in front of Luna.
"Whatever could you mean?" Luna replied sarcastically.
The two girls walked out of the alley to see tons and tons of people just walking around. They both started walking, but within a couple minutes they both felt weird.
"Rosy, is it just me, or do you feel like everyone is staring at us?" Luna said in a whisper.
"It's not just you." Rosalind responded.
Luna was trying to avoid the eyes of people but out of the corner of her eye she saw something run. "Rosy, follow me." she said as she broke into a run, chasing after the running thing. Rosalind wasn't far behind her but at the moment it didn't matter. Luna eventually lost sight of whatever was running, both her and Rosalind ended up in an empty alley.
"L-Luna." *puff puff* "Why-why did you run?" Rosalind said, catching her breath.
"I saw something running and I decided to chase it. It seemed...odd."
"You know, you could have given me a better head u-" she paused. "Why is it wet?" Rosalind said looking down. Her feet were in a small puddle.
Luna looked down and saw the water. "Weird." It was really weird. There wasn't a single dumpster, air conditioner box or even a door or window in the alley. It was just a plain empty alley. Besides the area where Maria's cottage was located, there wasn't a single empty alley.
"I can fly up and see if anything doesn't look right. I wouldn't be shocked if there are still shapeshifters out here." Luna said, looking at Rosalind.
"If it weren't so crowded, I would say yes, but there are too many people."
Luna sighed. "Well then let's get out of here, it is really weird." Luna felt as if two sets of eyes were peering straight into her back.
