a month or two go by, and they've been talking. they're both in love with each other. ewan had asked bernard out on a date, at his own restaurant. he obviously said yes and this was the start of their relationship. they were now together. time pass and now we're halfway through the date. "will you be mine, bernard?" ewan asked whilst getting down on his hooves. one by one, small droplets fall out of the goose' s eyes and he starts to cry. "yes, my love" he said whilst weeping.
time skip and it's a few months later. it's almost new years and they both plan on telling their parents about their relationship; and so they do. they start walking up to ewan's house (well farm) and knock on the gate. the moment his mother opens the door, she starts crying.
