Chapter 20: Aftershock Part 1

It was early in the morning, 4 AM at least. Two fishermen sat in a boat in Tokyo Bay, telling each other stories and urban legends.

Fishermen 1: -They say it fought Raijin in ancient Japan

Fishermen 2: Seriously!? What did they call it?

Fishermen 1: They called it the-

Before he could finish, the ocean became restless with massive waves almost toppling their boat. Through the waves, they saw three black humps moving through the water and continuing south before sinking their boat.

(Y/N) walked from 1-A's waiting room and down to the arena, where he'd face Shoto. But as he walked, he picked up the foul and recognizable smell of fire...

He then heard heavy footsteps approaching from the corridor. And then, from another hallway connecting to the corridor emerged... Endeavor

Endeavor's eyes immediately darted towards (Y/N) before furling in rage, to no one's surprise...

Endeavor: You... you're that monster spawn of Dagon, aren't you

(Y/N) scoffed at Endeavor before replying

(Y/N): Yeah, what's it to you?

Endeavor then clenched his teeth

Endeavor: A sarcastic sense of humor, no doubt from Dagon's side

(Y/N): Eh what can I say? It runs in the family

(Y/N) then passed Endeavor, bumping his shoulder into him

(Y/N): Especially when it comes to assholes

Endeavor then grabbed (Y/N) by the shoulder and turned him around to look at him

Endeavor: WATCH. YOUR. TONE. BOY. YOU THINK JUST BECAUSE YOU TOOK ME DOWN ONCE, YOU'RE BETTER THAN ME? YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO YOU'RE DEALING WITH-

(Y/N) then grabbed Endeavor's wrist, causing him pain before prying it from his shoulder

(Y/N): of course, I do...you're the reason Shoto doesn't trust anyone, you're the reason he declared war on me and Izuku, you're the hero with the highest villain body count

Endeavor clenched his teeth as he raised his fist to attack (Y/N)

Endeavor: ENOUGH!

As he brought his fist down upon (Y/N), (Y/N) caught it and began to twist his arm

(Y/N): Now you're just throwing a tantrum like a child, tell me? When was the last time you heard someone say they wanted to be a hero LIKE YOU when they grow up? You may be the second-best hero in the world, but many just see you as what you really are. A sick son of a bitch.

Endeavor flinched at what (Y/N) said to him

(Y/N): Don't think I don't know what you've done to your children either. How could you do such a thing to your own son, to your own children? YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO CALL SHOTO YOUR SON, YOU'VE JUST BEEN USING HIM THIS WHOLE TIME!

Endeavor's arms dropped to his side as he couldn't help but listen to what (Y/N) was saying

(Y/N): I may be a kaiju, or a titan, or whatever it is you people call me. But YOU. YOU ENDEAVOR, YOU ARE MORE OF A MONSTER THAN ME

(Y/N) then turned to walk away, a furious glare on his face before muttering something to Endeavor

(Y/N): Think about that the next time you call yourself "superior to All-Might"
