Later Rowan and Piper jumped the two mascots with bricks but their heads beneath the shark helmets were metal too. They punched back and fourth until Rowan snapped ones arm, straight off. There were wires and metal sticking out each end. They were robots. Again they ran away. The robots now not having to hide being robots chased them with jets in their feet but Rowan and Piper still got away. They were kneeled down behind a wall.
"Shit, they'll know it was us." Piper said.
"No they won't they don't even know us."
"We're in school, on the system they have our fingerprints!" Piper started panicking.
"Okay, plan." Rowan started, "I'll lead the sharks to the roof, you go find Micheal and meet me their and we'll gang up on them and no one will see and we'll push them off.""Guys!" Piper came running up to Micheal. She saw Kate and him be awkward and thought she was interrupting but still what she had to say was more important.
She brought them onto the roof to see Rowan fighting the two robots and kind of losing.
Micheal tackled one and Piper threw a bottle at the other. It turned its head to Piper and launched towards her. Rowan grabbed its legs. The fire from the jets were burning his arms. He threw the robot to the floor and small parts flew off. Micheal got punched to the floor and Kate screamed for him. Yea that'll help. Rowan ran over and threw it to the floor as well. Then Piper ripped its head off. Leaving wires and sparks. The other robot launched towards them and Rowan booted its head off and it looked really cool.A quiet countdown started from ten. They all looked at each other.
Rowan set the two robots up and turned on the jets in their feet. They shot up into the sky as they got to three. The four were surprised when the robots hit a roof. They blew up in red and yellows. The students and their parents started cheering and enjoying what they thought were fireworks.
Rowan started to come down from the adrenaline and felt his arms hurting. They were burnt. Piper took him to find water.
"That was weird." Kate said.
"It was. But it's real," Micheal said, "so I guess it's normal."
They didn't really think about it. Or the coconut people. Or the clocks that had still been wrong every now and again. Because they were real everyone just accepted it. The lights had mostly gone now but it was still pretty. And then they snogged or whatever.
