For those of you who don't follow me on tik tok I have decided to rewrite this story because I wasn't very proud of what I had written and I felt I could do better and the story felt very disorganized. I am also doing a lot better mentally and feel that I can return to writing this story without having so much anxiety over balancing so many things in my life. But without further ado, I present the new and improved Getaway car I hope you guys enjoy!

Ivy Hart

"Can you swing by the office soon? I've gotta discuss some stuff with you."

"I'm on the corner of 5th and 14th so give me about twenty minutes?"

"Perfect! I'll see you soon Ivy."

"See you soon!"

When I hang up my quick call with my publicist I start to reroute myself to her office. The five blocks I have to walk give me a minute to take in the beauty of my favorite city in my favorite season. There's a different vibe in Manhattan in the summer. It's like a sense of adventure, liveliness, and amazing new energy. The warmer weather brings some of my favorite memories and favorite people. Summers in Manhattan can get very interesting very quickly.

But not only is the vibe and energy different the city itself looks more alive. The leaves growing back bring some color back to the city. Everything feels brighter and better overall. This city will never not be my home I love it too much to leave it. It's been my home my entire life, I grew up here and I want to continue to grow here. I've been to many cities in the past couple of years and nothing ever compares to how I feel here. The city can sometimes get on my nerve I mean manhattan traffic is no one's friend but I wouldn't change anything about this city because it's home.

I Jaywalk across the street to the front of the office building and head inside. I click the up button for the elevator and enter when the doors open. While I hot the button for the floor my publicist's office is located on I wonder why she called me here. Press for my new movie will be starting soon and the teaser trailer has finally dropped and fans are loving it. I'm not in any media trouble that I know of and from what I know she's not working on any new ideas.

My ideas begin to fizzle out as the elevator doors open and I find my way to my publicist's office. I open the glass door and enter the impeccably decorated office my publicist works in. the walls are a light blue and she has a curved white loveseat in front of her desk. Behind the desk are two big windows looking out at the city surrounded by different photos and pieces of art on the walls. Standing at her corner coffee bar still oblivious to my entrance is my publicist.

"Hi, Grace." I startle her a little when I finally make myself known and she turns around smiling at me.

"Hey Ivy take a seat." She picks up her cup of coffee and sits down at her desk. "Just waiting on someone to arrive and then we can get started."

"Someone? Who is someone?" I question her about the new information.

"You'll see in a minute." she sips her coffee and tucks a piece of her blonde hair behind her ear.

Who could she be talking about? Who do I know that would meet with my publicist and me? Is this meeting more serious than I thought?

I try and calm myself down when I hear a British voice enter the room.

"I'm a little late, I was finishing up some studio time with the band." I turn my head and see a tall man enter the office with arms covered in tattoos, long curly brown hair, and black skinny jeans with a loose partly buttoned-up shirt. He takes a seat next to me on the loveseat and ignores my presence.
