"i'm not used to being loved. i wouldn't know what to do."
Q-001 - QUINN
gender: unconfirmed (any pronouns)There are only a few different types of androids in this world.
There are the smaller bots, like your modern Roomba, the bot that surveys traffic, the ones that tidy the litter that flies into the streets.
There's the medical bots, androids created to resemble humans only so much to ease the fact that a human is being treated by an A.I. Theres no emotion to them, only facts and statistics and hundreds of lines of precise coding.
The last are the androids created to be identical to humans, minus the imperfections of a real person. Freckled skin, feathered hair, a soft voice that tells you exactly what you need to hear. They were created with the intention of providing people with company, the perfect companion.Q-001 (or Quinn) was created from the latter, with a few tweaks.
Quinn's original model was designed to resemble a young man, maybe in his twenties, with blue eyes and white hair that's grown out in a messy scruff to just past his shoulders, and it will never grow or fade in color. The model stands at exactly 6 feet tall, not an inch more or less, with precise posture.
But companion androids arent very useful. Their main attributes are cooking, cleaning, providing company, and reading human emotions, plus everything your every-day google home could manage. And this simply wont do, and Quinn must be altered.
There's only so much coding one man can do alone, especially when handling an android that was originally created and protected by the city. But that isn't to say Quinn is entirely quirkless.Glancing into the androids eyes, you'll notice that Quinn's pupils were removed and the models eyes are easy to peer through into the workings inside. This is to allow better optical reach, and a bonus- Quinn is able to scan items and people to find (albeit basic) information.
From Quinn's cheekbone to the middle of their hairline, their right eye is built on a separate plate that is easily removable to allow for adjustments. On Quinn's mid-back is another removable panel, this time larger and allowing more access to the model's workings. Each limb is removable with the right equipment and handling, and can be altered in many ways.
Quinn does not need to be shut-off before any adjustments, but it's likely the model will temporarily turn off anyways.
