Laken

Thankfully Steak N' Shake wasn't full as it usually was. The hostess immediately greeted us and sat us at a nice table, that was actually very clean.

"I have to go to the restroom but I'll be back in just a second." I say quietly, kissing Austin's cheek.

He smiles and doesn't let go of my hand till I can't go much further.

"I love you." he says happily, squeezing my hand before letting it go.

I smile,"I love you too.", and walk away.

In the bathroom I quickly finished my business and washed my hands with the nice lavender scented soap. I dry my hands before pulling open the door and walking out, only to stop suddenly.

"I love you." I say not wanting to let her hand go at all.

Today she had made me the happiest man in the world, and that's not even close to the feeling. I was on Cloud 9, heck higher than that, especially with her and my babies.

My wolf had been purring since the moment the doctor said she was pregnant. The word triplets made him howl in pride at how amazing our mate was to us.

"I love you too." she says before walking away.

As she walks away I couldn't help but watch her butt as her hips swayed back and forth.

Gosh she has such a nice ass my wolf growls.

I agree with a smirk as she disappears behind a door. I hadn't noticed the tall blonde waitress approaching me as I stared after my mate, causing me to jump slightly as she cleared her throat.

"Hi, welcome to Steak N' Shake. I'm Chloe. What can I get you to drink hot stuff?" She asks with a wink, placing her hand on my shoulder.

Quickly I brush it off and ignore her advances. "Um, a coke for me, and a Sweet Tea for my fiancé." I emphasized the fiancé part even though, I hadn't asked Laken to marry me yet, I hoped this would stop her flirting.

"Fiancé? Oh I bet she's a slut Huh." She paused briefly before saying,"But I know if you want to find a nice one, I'm always here."

My wolf was fuming, wanting to shift and tear her to pieces for insulting our mate, but she reeked of human.

Her arms slinked around my shoulders and her knee tried to push against my legs. I felt the bile raising in my throat as she tried to lean in for a kiss. Suddenly, it was like she was thrown off of me, as she stumbled back and hit another booth.

"Are you fucking blind? Obviously he isn't interested by you, so fuck off." Laken screamed in the girls face.

Standing up I wrapped an arm around Laken's waist,"Let's go baby. We can eat somewhere else."

By the time we got to the exit all of the customers were staring. The manager ran over to us and we quickly told him what happened. Turns out it wasn't the only time Chloe had done something like this and so she was fired.

So Laken and I decided to just go back home and eat instead. In the car I looked over and couldn't help but frown as she looked sad.

"Laken I'm sorry. She just came onto me, and she was human so I couldn't command her or anything. I'm sorry."

Laken replies with a giggle,"You can't help your looks Austin. I'm mean your sexy as hell, any girl that sees you immediately needs to freshen up the down town."

I chuckle and grab her hand, kissing her knuckles. "Even you?" I ask hopefully.

"Sometimes." she says with a teasing hum.

"We should change that to always!" I say with a wink.

My mate giggles, making my heart warm as I see how her face lights up as she does. I had to stop looking, otherwise we would have a wreck. Smiling I turn my eyes back on the road.

"So, what's the plan?" I ask still quite excited about our pups.

"About our babies?" Laken asks.

I sigh in content,"Yes, Our babies."

She smiles,"Well we have to make up a room for them. Tell our parents, and the pack. Oh and think of names."

"Names are covered by yours truly." i say with a smile.

"What? Um, think again, we have to decide these together." My mate says in a 'duh' tone.

My wolf was itching at the way she shot down our decision, but slinks away otherwise.

"Um okay then but I'm sure once you eat them, you will want to name them that."

"Okay what ever Mr. Big Shot Alpha. Tell me them then." she says becoming more angry with my cocky tone.

"Okay then. Carter Jensen for my future alpha. William Theo for the next boy, and Alice Blair for our little girl!"

She didn't look even the slightest bit impressed,"I only like Jensen, William, and Alice, but as middle names. The first names are what I'll pick out." Laken said, crossing her arms defiantly.

I now knew that she wouldn't budge, and if I pushed any more I would be in the dog house and we all know what that means. I would not ever be in the dog house, not even for a second.

So unhappily, I reply with a gruff,"Fine. Have it your way then; but my future alpha better not have the name of a pansy."

Laken then smiles brightly,"I promise they won't baby; and that's our alpha."

She kisses my cheek hard, making me jerk the wheel slightly, but not too much. I glare at her playfully, making her laugh and fall back against the seat with a sigh on contentment.

"I love you." She says airily.

"And I love you."
