𝟤 𝕬 𝖉𝖆𝖞 𝖔𝖚𝖙

The car ride was...interesting. It was kinda hard to pile up 5 guys, a girl and a dog in a medium-sized car. In the front sat Tommi, our driver for today, and Niko, who won the fight fair and square. In the back Joonas, Olli and Joel sat normally with me on Joel's lap and Deaky all over Olli and Joonas.

The ride wasn't that long, about half an hour, so we weren't able to cause bigger incidents. Finally, Tommi parked the car at the edge of the forest and as soon as the engine was off, I practically jumped out of the car, with Deaky following soon after. I wasn't really surprised when he ran off into the woods, but what I didn't expect was Joonas running off with him.

"Joonas get back here! You're gonna get lost!" I yelled after him, but no response followed.

When I stopped yelling Tommi stood next to me with his arms crossed. "Let him be. He'll come back eventually." He dismissed

"And if he doesn't?" I asked with a smirk.

"Then the bears will have a nice meal." He said and I laughed a little, agreeing with him

Slowly we took off into the forest to have some fun and possibly find these two. We all goofed around and made chaos.

Joel helped me climb a tree but then left me up there.

Niko and Tommi keep hiding around, trying to play hide 'n' seek.

Olli searched for them all while helping me hunt Joel down after he got me off the tree.

After maybe half an hour we heard a noise in front of us. We all stopped in our tracks and waited to see what it was. Joel grabbed a big stick off the ground, to try and defend us if needed. Niko kept making small steps in the direction of the noise to check what it was.

"Niko! Did you not watch any horror movie ever?!" I whisper-shouted at him. "Now some creature will jump out of bushes and eat your face off!"

"Relax. It's probably just some rabbit or something." He waved me off.

Just then Deaky and Joonas jumped out of the bushes. We all screamed, Joel stood in the fighting stance with his stick above his head, and I jumped up on Tommi and he caught me all while screaming, Olli hid behind Joel all while taking some weird fighting stance and Niko jumped up so high I don't think I've ever seen anyone jump so high. Joonas started laughing so hard I think he might've choked. We all stood in the same positions, dumbfounded.

The first one to react was Joel when he threw the stick at Joonas and Joonas yelped and jumped back. Then we all relaxed and Tommi dropped me while sighing in relief.

"You motherfucker!" I yelled at him. Deaky ran to me and started licking my face. "Ohh, my baby. I missed you too!" I cooed and hugged him.

"What about me?!" Joonas asked offended

"What about you?" I asked innocently. He just rolled his eyes at me.

All of us took a moment to calm down and get over shook. When we finally calmed down, the journey continued. We went on into the woods until we found a small clearing with a little river at the edge. Joel and I immediately ran to the river, took off our shoes, and ran straight in. It wasn't deep at all so we didn't get wet. Others stayed at the clearing to try and find woods for the fire. We wanted to make our own food (even though none of us is a great chef).

When Joel and I decided we played enough, we joined the others, who by now had made a fire. I thought when we are making food on our own, why not make something my way (Serbian way actually, but that's what I said). I told them to buy some corn, like whole corn clips, and some meat, and I brought alcohol.

After instructing them to put corn on the sticks and meat on the makeshift grill, I decided to let them try the famous rakija. It's a traditional Serbian alcoholic drink. I mean you can find it in other Slavic European countries, but ours is special. It's made of plums and I think almost every countryside home makes it. The boys were more than happy to try it and after a few shots, they all agreed it's one of the best drinks so far.

We ate, chatted, and sang for a quiet while until we noticed it was getting darker. That's when we decided that it's best to go back now before night falls completely. I was pretty tired anyway. It took us just under 30 minutes to get ready, but as fast as we were, night was faster.

We didn't mind the dark until we entered the forest. We literally couldn't see more than 2 meters ahead. And the fact that none of us knew this area very well didn't help at all. After maybe 5 minutes of arguing we decided to put Tommi as the leader. Why him? Because I don't think a bear would dare to cross his path.

It was around nine p.m. when we finally found the way out. Remind me to never go in the woods without a flashlight and Tommi. Like almost all of us screamed at least once, except Tommi. He was as cool as stone. We all practically ran to the car when we saw them through thick branches. Of course, I didn't get there first so I had to sit on someone again. This time we decided to let Deaky ride with Niko in the front. Now that Olli and Joonas didn't have a dog on them I could easily lay down. Which I, of course, did. With my head in Olli's lap, torso in Joonas', and legs in Joel's, I let myself rest a bit, and Olli absentmindedly stroking my hair didn't help at all. I immediately fell asleep on them and they all just continued playing around with my shoes or shirt or hair. It was a rather nice nap.

I was awoken by the sound of car stopping and someone shaking me. I was informed that we got home and I needed to get up, so I did. When Joel stepped out of the car too, I knew exactly what that meant.

"Alright, who's sleeping over?" I asked with a tired sigh.

Joel innocently lifted his hand up which made me chuckle and pull him toward the door.

"Well then see you boys tomorrow. Good night!" I bid them and they all said it back with one snarky comment from Joonas.

"You two better don't have too much fun." He said ''sternly'' while shaking his finger threateningly at us. I let out a tired laugh and shook my head while Joel tried defending himself which made boys laugh even harder.

"Come 'ere" I said gently to Joel when we stepped inside while opening my arms. He slowly walked toward me and crouched down to hug me.

I knew why he was staying and I didn't mind it a tiny bit. He just didn't feel his best at the moment and needed a hug. And so did I. That's actually how we became friends when we first met. We both needed comfort we were too scared to ask for.

I led him to the bedroom and went to the bathroom to have a quick shower and came back to see him in some shorts he probably left here for this occasion. He was already in bed waiting for me.

"Everything okay?" I asked and we both just looked at each other and shook our heads with laugh.

I went straight to the bed and laid under the sheets holding them open for Joel. He laid under them as well and snuggled closer to me, with his head on my chest and his arms wrapped around my torso. I wrapped my arms around him protectively and put my legs over his. We, of course, didn't fall asleep for 2 hours just laid there together, trying not to overthink...well, everything. But, finally, around 1 a.m. we both fell asleep, grateful for the sleep we would get.

So this should've been published yesterday, but Wattpad messed something up, and the whole chapter got deleted so I had to rewrite it. This one isn't as good as the first version but deal with my dumbass.
