Chapter 19 The fight

Sonic's POV
No no no no no no not him! Not now! Why why him, why is he here?!

Sonic:"E.X.E! What are you doing here?"

Sonic:"M-me??"
Shadow:looks at Exe then he protect's Sonic "Why do you want to kill him?"

Sonic:"I won't let you" he charged in to fight him
E.X.E:"sUch a BrAvE bOy" He also charged in for battle.
The battle between a goddess and a demon god will be very something Shadow watch his lover battle with a dangerous being, while the other try to evacuate the demon and angel students but he can't stand there and watch so he charged in as well to help Sonic. He used his chaos spear at him multiple times and it hit and took damaged
E.X.E:"WhY yOu LiTtLe bRaT" he growled
Sonic:"Shadow! What are you doing here? It's dangerous"
Shadow:"I'm not leaving you and your not fighting alone love i will fight with you by your side no matter what"
Sonic:"Shadow........."
E.X.E:IsNt tHiS A bEaUtIfUl MoMeNt bUt ThIs wIlL bE YoUr lAsT
Shadow:"Shall we love?"
Sonic:"We shall" As the two lover charged at E.X.E Shadow use his wings while Sonic run as they use their power to defeat the nightmare. Sonic use his spin dash to hit him, portal ring to teleport and hit him with his counter attack, then he use his element power, the he summon Dear demons Shadow use his Chaos spears and chaos gun to shoot then then Sonic's eyes turn yellow the he has purple guns on his hands then shoot them. The two defeats the army of Death Demon this made E.X.E very very very angry
E.X.E:"ThAt'S It i ShOuLd eNd HeRe AND RIGHT NOW!!!!" His hand grow longer as sharp claws appear with a demonic creepy smile on his face "NoW lEtS PlAy~" Get charged at them very fast

Narrator's POV
The fight was intense and the three hedgehog's are getting tired from they're intense fight they were panting and sweating. But they didn't know that EXE demons has already destroy everything even earth every human and mobians got hurt very badly

Sonic:he look at his necklace of the three symbols as he knows what to do "Shadow?"
Shadow:he looks at him "what it is?"
Sonic:he smiled "I'm sorry and I love you" He gives him a final kiss on lips and he teleport Shadow out of the school. And he locked teleport school so he and EXE are trapped together
Sonic. EXE:"WhAt aRe YoU pLaNnInG HeDgEhOg?"
Sonic:he closed his eyes as he's fur turned into light blue and shine so brightly as he open his eyes and they were yellow as he charged at him and chaos punch EXE a million time and kicked him to the ground harshly then he used a chaos bow and aim it at EXE as the Chaos Emerald appeared around Sonic as he shot the chaos arrow 7 beams from the 7 Chaos Emerald and burned EXE and destroyed him for good
Sonic. EXE:"NOOOOOO!!!" He was gone for good

Meanwhile with Shadow

Shadow was trying to destroy the locked that was blocking him to see his lover he growled in furious and anger. And he was worried of what happened to his lover

Meanwhile with Sonic

Sonic:he takes a deep breath as he closed his eyes and let our his arms when his eyes closed the Emerald's glowed then the three symbols glowed to then a powerful waved was sent

The waved make everyone outside of the school fall back same goes to Shadow. But then a beam of light shine to the sky and burst like fire works the drops made everything back to normal and beautiful again and the blast mend earth back to normal and be beautiful planet again

Then the locked breaks Shadow stands up and runs inside of the school to find his lover laying on the ground with the Chaos Emerald's around him to protect him. Shadow went to him as the emerald's let him Shadow rushed to his lover and hold him closed
Shadow:"Sonic? Y-your did it....." He smiled softly and was very proud of his lover
Sonic:he smiled happily as he hold he muzzle with one of his hand "Shadow.....you know that I love you right? And I'm sorry......also I love you Shadow-kun" He gave Shadow one final kiss
Shadow:he gladly return the kiss and hold his lover tightly but then he felt his lover's hold got weakening and broke the kiss and see his lover has his eyes closed "Soniku?" He shake him but the azure didn't wake up "Sonic wake up Sonic! Sonic!" As tears start streaming from his eye "Sonic stop playing this isn't funny! Sonic! Plz don't leave me!!" He cried harder wanting his lover to never leave him as he hold tightly of his lover body and cried "don't leave me........."

The gang watch them from behind and they were crying of Sonic's death but they dont know that Sonic just gave up his own life to safe everyone that he loved including his lover......Shadow. But they can't believe they just lost Sonic, they lost their friend, Tails can't believe he lost his best friend, and Shadow..........he can't believe he lost his lover
Shadow:"I love you Sonic...." He whispered ever so quietly to his lover as tears keep falling from his red ruby eyes

"I love you too Shadow..."
