Chapter 3--

Morning;

Delilah's pov;

I woke up by the ray of sun showering my face, I sighed heavily before sitting up. I got up and walked to the bathroom to do my routine. After I showered and stuff, I changed into a blue hoodie and black jeans to go with some white shoes (Jordan).

"Good morning, mom!" I said cheerfully.

Mom; "Morning, baby. Just in time for breakfast."

I looked towards the dinning table and smiled brightly when I saw my breakfast. Breakfast, it's eggs, bacon, and toast bread. I giggl3ed and sat down on a chair, already munching on the breakfast.

"Wait, how come dad and Derek isn't here?" I asked as I didn't notice their presence around.

Mom; "They left early since they had to attend a meeting. And you know that they work together."

After eating, I packed my bag because I'm going to work. I grabbed a water bottle and kissed my mom's cheek, telling her goodbye before I walked out of the house.

At Work.

I opened the door and was first greeted by:-

Layla; "Lilah! Please help me with this."

I hummed, "What is it?"

Layla; "Aight. An investor is coming in today and they want us to invest in the store. He's a very important guest so can you please attend to him  when he arrives."

"I- why me?"

Layla; "Because you have the best communication skills."

"Oh, okay."

The door then opens, revealing Felix.

Felix; "Morning girls. Hey, beautiful, what's up?"

As I heard beautiful, I knew he was talking to me.

I turned to him, "Nothing."

He smiled and watched slowly as I went to sat down in front of my desk, looking for a jersey to design a painting or picture on it.

Felix; "So, what are you doing today?"

"Uhm, Layla told me there will be an investor coming in. And I have to attend to them when they arrive. I'm a little... nervous."

Felix; "Oh well don't be nervous."

-he said with a smile.

I smiled back, "Okay!"

Half an Hour.

So now I'm here, waiting for the investors to come in. And now, I'm very nervous. Just then, I heard someone call me from behind.

??; "Excuse me, Miss?"

I turned and saw a guy looking down at me, standing about 2 meters away from me.

??; "Do you work here? Uh, Fashion World?"

I smiled, "Yes. I'm guessing you're the investor?"

He nodded with a smile.

"Follow me."

I smiled and then I walked forward and he followed behind me. I knocked on Manager Jay's office, upon hearing a 'come in,' I opened the door. I then step aside, allowing the guy to go in first.
