Book 2: Ethan Winters x Reader

The village

Y/n's POV

Ethan: Where the hell are we?

Y/n: It looks like we're in a village.

There were a lot of dead crows everywhere. We went into a house. It looks like it's been deserted for years. There were a lot of symbols everywhere. We went back outside. Continuing on, I found a knife and first aid liquid. I went into to another house but Ethan stayed outside. While I was looking around I saw a curtain. I went to remove and I almost got shot.

Y/n: Aah! No no! Friendly, friendly!

Ethan immediately rushed in. 

???: Who are you? Who sent you?

He kept his gun pointed at us.

Ethan: Nobody! There was an accident, down on the road, and-

We heard strange sounds.

Y/n: What's going on?

The man covered my mouth. He looking around the place in fear. He looked at the window.

???: Oh, no. They're coming!

Ethan: Who is? What the hell was that?

???: Do you have a gun?

Y/n: What?

???: Please tell me you have a gun!

Ethan: No. Why would we?

The man took up a gun and gave it to Ethan.

???: It's all I can spare. Take it! Take it!

Ethan took the gun.

Ethan: Tell me what's out there!

The man suddenly shot something outside. He was walking around in a panic.

Ethan: Hey, are you listening? Hey!

The man was suddenly grabbed by something from the roof.

Y/n: What the-

Something grabbed our leg and drag us down through the ground. We saw a lot of dead bodies down here. 

Ethan: What the hell is wrong with this place?

We saw something moving so I went to check it out but I heard a commotion behind me. I turn around and saw a monster biting off Ethan's fingers. 

Ethan: GET OFF!!

The monster grabbed us and throw us outside. 

Ethan: Shit.

Y/n: What the fuck was that?

The monster came out. I took the gun from Ethan and shot in the head until it was down. I went over to Ethan.

Y/n: Are you okay? 

 Ethan: I'm fine.

I look over at his hand. 

Ethan: I told you I'm fine. 

That sounded a bit harsh but I just shrugged it off. We went into a house in search for another weapon to help us but instead we met up with more monsters.

Ethan: Is it... over? 

We heard talking coming from a radio.

???: Hello? If there are any survivors out here, come to my... to Luiza's house near the fields.

Ethan: Survivors?

Y/n: Let's go.

We went out but monsters were there waiting for us.

 We run into another house to hide from them. The monsters were trying to get in. 

Ethan: Dammit. What are we going to do?

I found a shotgun and took it.

Y/n: Don't worry, babe. I got this.

One monsters barged in. 

Ethan: Hello.

The monster walked right into the trap and I got to shot him right in the head killing him instantly. There was a ladder there so we went down and it led us to outside. 

Y/n: Ethan-

I got interrupted by monsters coming our way. There were so many of them that we couldn't handle.  One of the monsters shot Ethan in the leg with an arrow. I saw a big monster came down. He looked at us for a second. He then turn around like he saw someone. He run away and so did the other monsters. Ethan pulled out the arrow out of his leg that's when I remembered what I was going to say to him. 

Y/n: Here, Ethan I found a bandage in the house.

He took it and wrap it around his hand. I look over and saw a lady in black clothing with a stick. She walk away.

Y/n: Wait, w-wait...

But she kept walking so Ethan and I followed her until we catch up to her.

???: In life and in death, we give glory...

Ethan: Uh, hello? You shouldn't be out here. It's not safe.

But she didn't respond nor even look at us.

Ethan: What the hell?

Y/n: Hey, can you hear me?

She finally turn to look at us.

???: It's you? The child's parents.

Ethan: Child? Hey, wait do you mean Rose? Is she here?

???: Rose, Rose, yes! She's in great danger. Since Mother Miranda brought her to the village, we have fallen into darkness.

Y/n: What are you talking about? The monsters?

I look up and saw a castle.

???: The castle bell heralds danger! They're coming!

Ethan: No, wait! Where's Rose?

Y/n: Who's " Mother Miranda"?

???: The bell tolls for us all! They're coming again!

She went past the gates and close them behind her. We can hear her laughing as she leaves.

Ethan: Rose is here?

Y/n: I don't know but we have to check and we to look if there's any survivors.

Ethan agreed. While we were walking I saw something fell out of Ethan's pocket. I saw that it's a picture with us and Rose on it.

Y/n: Aww, you had this?

Ethan: Oh yeah.

I took it up and put in my pocket.
