Shiki,the girl of Mystery

Me and Hiro rushed out,rushing off to school.More like racing and I was losing.As we ran,something caught my eye,a girl hiding behind a tree.Just watching us which caused me to stop and look but she was already gone."Aikara!Come on,we'll be late for class!"calls Hiro leaving me in the dust.I chuckle as I run after him.

At recess, a group of big kids surrounds Hiro,trapping him in a corner."Why pick on me?"Hiro shivers."You're a demon,right?"the first kid says."Demons don't belong in this world."the second kid hissed throwing a rock towards Hiro.I get hit by it instead because I step in front of Hiro."Nii-san."Hiro blinks."That's enough.Leave my brother alone.We deserve to be here the same as everyone else around here."I glare."If you wanna join him,we have no problems with that."the third laughs before pelting me with rocks.I bear it and made sure Hiro didn't get hit.They all charge in to punch my stomach and face."NII-san!!STOP IT.!"yells Hiro watching in horror as I cough up blood.After they left I wipe the blood from my face and pull Hiro into a hug."I said I would protect you no matter what."I says looking over his shoulder at the ground.My bloody stained hair covers my teary eyes"."We never did anything but live in this cruel world."I sniffle.At that moment  I realized,Me and Hiro are alone in this world,so it's up to me to protect him from it.

On our way back home,I had this feeling like someone was following us.I snap around but saw nothing but the gust of wind blowing through my hair.Hiro tucks on my shirt."What's wrong?"he asked."Nothing,lets go home."I yawn."Hiya!!!!"cheers a voice from a far.Suddenly a girl with headphones around her neck jumps down in front of us which startled us,making me grab Hiro and leap back."Who are you!?"I growl with my hand in front of Hiro."Shiki,pleasure to meet cha."she smiles holding her hand out to us.I glare harder,not letting my guard down because I dont believe thats her real name.Shiki sighs and lowered her hand."You're supposed to tell me you names and shake my hand."she says."Hiro Yamato."My little brother greets,shaking her hand.I turn my head the other way."This is my big brother,Aikara.He's not that good around people."Hiro continues."Tch,Hiro,shut it.let's go home."I grumble walking towards home.

"Hmm,guess you guys don't get out much,do ya?"questions Shiki.Hiro nods."HIRO,GET OVER HERE!"I yell.He rushes over along with Shiki.Suddenly she grabs my hand and drags me into the woods with Hiro right behind."Then let me take you to a place I know."she smiles."Let me go."I growl.She brings us to some place with a glimmering waterfall."Whoa.So cool."Hiro says with amazement in his eyes.I roll my eyes and look away."How do I get out of here?"I groan crossing my arms."Come on,enjoy yourself,Aikara."Shiki smiles while climbing a tree.Hiro tries to follow but falls.I catch him in my arms."Let's go."I demand."Wait,I wanna show us something.."she smiles pulling out a pair of small canister.Hiro glued his eyes on Shiki while I turned the other way,rolling my eyes.I slightly look back.Bubbles of water start flying out from the canister and float around Shiki like Saturn's rings. She swirls her index finger and three bubbles swirls around it and forms a bigger bubble. "COOL!" cheers Hiro clapping. "I can control water." Shiki smiles

Suddenly a large bubble picks me,and Hiro up and flies towards the top of the waterfall.My eyes widen with fear,I hate heights. Shiki steps on top of a bubble and flies towards us. "P-put me down.NOW!" I shout trying to not show my fear. "Why?Its so fun,Nii-san." Hiro cheers.Shiki sits on top of her bubble as the sunset decorates the sky with shades of pink and red."Look at that sky,ain't it wonderful?" Shiki giggles. "Hey Shiki,You live around here?" Hiro asked. "Yep.I live with my big brother,Ginti." She reply. "Cool." Hiro gleams at the sky.Gah,I wanna get down!!! A tick mark throbs on my face and Hiro starts to feel my angered energy as he tries to fan me. "Its OK,Aikara." he say,calmming me down. Shiki blinks at me."What's wrong with him?" she asked. "Nothing." Hiro lies.I would say something but that feeling inside my stomach prevents me. "Hey,What do you guys wanna be when you grow up?" she asked. "Huh?Dunno.Hehehe.We've never been asked that before.What about you?" Hiro asked. "Well I guess.An exorcist.!"She cheers giving us a thumbs up while standing up on her bubble.

That day,Hiro made his first friend....this concerns me because she came out of nowhere.Nethertheless, we're really not alone in this world.I guess hybrids can make friends.Learning something new everyday about this not always cruel world we live in.
