I hesitantly climb out of Graces small car and make my way to the walk way to Matt's home.
The music gets louder with each step I take. My ears begin to hurt by the loud music flooding into them.
When I step into the home I instantly regret agreeing to come here with Grace.
There's a crazy amount of people here, like Grace said..this wasn't anywhere near a small party.
Grace immediately takes off into the house and I get the feeling she's been here a lot.
She latches onto my arm and guides me through this maze of a house.
The smell of alcohol flood through my nose as we approach the kitchen.
Why did grace have to talk me into coming with her? She would have been just fine if I was at home sleeping night now.
I check the time on my phone and it's already 9:00 at night!
I really hope we don't stay long...
My thoughts of trying to escape this party are interrupted by the boy with the southern accent and blue eyes from the restaurant from a earlier.
"Hey Lillian was it? I'm Nash" He calmly asks.
I nod my head yes and she flashes me a smile. Nash, it was a pretty odd name, I've never heard of it before but I like it.
"You look really bored and out of place." He laughs
"Yeah parties aren't really my thing.." I trail off trying to look for Grace over everyone's heads.
Stupid of me to do that because I'm pretty short and everyone almost towers over me.
"Are you thirsty?" he asks
"No, I'm fine. I don't drink and everything here seems to be alcohol." I laugh
Nash laughs and responds," yea pretty much but there's a café like two blocks down the street and we can go there. It's pretty loud in here."
I hesitate, I don't know if I should be going anywhere with him. I barely know him, but something in me tells me that I should leave this party before the cops come and we all get in trouble.
"Yeah, we can do that!" I respond after I notice I haven't answered him yet.
"Okay follow me!!" He says and leads me out of the crowded home.
