The first move

Mick POV

After school I went to my friends house. We have been friends for a really long time. I don't think that he knows but I kinda like him. Everytime I see him I get butterflies in my stomach. My grades are bad but I just can't focus in class because of him. I wish he would feel the same.

'What's on your mind?'
'oh.... nothing' I said
I looked at my friend and smiled. He smiled back.
'What do you want to do when we're at my house?' he asked
'I don't really care'
Then all my other friends came from behind us and started to yell. I ofcourse yelled back because he was pretty far away. When they finally came closer they told us that they were going to the supermarket and asked us to go to. I said yes and then saw Tom looking away but I could see that he was disappointed in my decision.

Tom POV

I would finally go with my friend to my house and be alone for a while. But when I saw the other guys I already knew that it wouldn't go as I wanted it to. I don't really like the other guys because they try to be cool and all when they really aren't. Then I heard Jared asking if we wanted to go with them to the supermarket and ofcourse Mick said yes. I was dissapointed because today was the day that I would tell him how I felt about him. I saw him looking over at me and I tried to look away but I knew that he had seen it.

We finally arrived at the supermarket. We all put our masks on and went in. They all got something to eat but I didn't have any money with me so I didn't buy anything. It felt like forever for them to choose something to eat and to drink and then pay. After they were done they asked us if we wanted to hang out. I wanted to say no but Mick already said yes. I didn't want to hang out with them today so I said I had to go home because I had to walk the dog.

Mick didn't understand that I wanted to go home and said that it wasn't a problem when we were going to hang out. Everyone was confused and I said that I had probably forgotten about it and just found out. He shrugged and said that it was okay for me to go.Not that it really matters if he said no because I was going anyway. I said goodbye and went home. I couldn't believe that he would just leave me like that. When I got home I did walk the dog. I couldn't just say that I was going to do something and then not actually do it.

It was Thursday so I had soccer training. I am the goalkeeper of the team. It all went pretty well in my opinion. I am lucky that I'm not in the same team as Mick. Otherwise I definitely wouldn't be able to focus in the game. After the training I went home and while I was cycling I saw him. We both smiled at each other. I wish he knew how I felt.

Mick POV

It was Friday wich means that it was our last day until the weekend begun. The last hour we had was biology. I sat down next to Tom. Our teacher was talking about snakes like he usually always does and the only thing I could think of was Tom. When he was finally done with talking he said that we had to form pairs of 2 for a project. I looked at Tom and said: "Do you want to do the project with me?" "Sure, when would you like to start?" He asked. "How about we go to your house after school?". "I'm fine with that".

After class we went directly to his house. I hoped that his parents wouldn't be home because I couldn't hold it in any longer. I had to tell him. When we arrived at his house we ate something and went straight to his room to go do our project. I was really nervous. I didn't know why but it looked like Tom was kind of nervous too

After a while I said: "Tom, I have to tell you something".
"I also have something to tell you".
"Oh, you can go first".
"No you can tell me first because you told me you wanted to tell me something first".
"How about we say it together?"
"Okay".

"1"
"I like you".
"I like you".
I looked at Tom and he looked at me. We just sat there for a while.

Then I came closer to him. He just sat there looking petrified. I came closer and closer until there was as little space between us as possible. I turned his head to face me. I then said in a whisper: "Did you mean what you just said?". "Yes" he said in a nervous tone. I then looked him up and down and he tried to look away but I held him closer to me. As he still didn't do anything I decided to lean in for a kiss. At first he hesitated but then responded back with a kiss. When we finally broke apart he just started smiling like crazy. I couldn't hold back my smile and smiled back.

Then we heard a front door open. "Tom... We are home!" We both looked at each other and smiled. "We can't tell anyone what happened okay?" I replied back with "I promise that I won't tell anyone about our kiss". Then I looked at my phone and saw the time. "I have to go home". "oh, okay.." he said. "We need to continue this project fast because I would like to know the outcome" I said and winked at Tom. I went downstairs and Tom followed me. I greeted his parent and they greeted me back. They gave Tom a weird look because his head was as red as a tomato. When we were outside I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and cycled away.

Tom POV

I just stood there while he was cycling away. I smiled like crazy and was as red as a tomato. We would probably see each other monday again so I had to wait for Monday to finally talk to him again. When I went back in I immediately went upstairs to lay down and let everything sink in. What just happend? Well I just got kissed by the person I have a crush on. It was easy to just say it like that but it felt amazing.

The weekend went by very slowly. I had Mick on my mind for the entire weekend. When it was Monday I couldn't wait to see him. We had PE. I waited until everyone was out and then I heard someone walk in. It was Mick. I was happy to see him and I could see that he was also happy to see me. "Why are you still here?" He asked. "Well I didn't feel like going to PE but I have to go" I said. He started to change into his PE clothes. When he took off his shirt I could feel that my eyes were going straight to him. He catched me looking and came over to me. I felt that my face was turning into a tomato again. I stood up and I wanted to walk away but he stopped me. "You don't have to hide the fact that you like the view". He winked and then walked out again. How am I supposed to survive this day?

After PE I stayed until everyone left again so I could talk to Mick. He got the hint and stayed here with me. He still hadn't changed into his regular outfit. He was shirtless. Then I asked him if he wanted to continue the Biology project because it was due on Friday. He laughed and slowly came closer and closer. Eventually there was only little to no space between us. He put his hand right next to my face. He started to kiss my neck slowly. A moan escaped my mouth and he started to laugh. I got all red again. "You like that don't you?" He asked. Before I could say something he started to kiss me again and again and again.

He then started to walk away. I was just sitting there being completely in shock of what happened. He laughed and said:"You should try and be my boyfriend". I looked at him. Was he serious or was he joking? He probably saw my face and said:"I mean it. Tom, do you want to be my boyfriend?" ofcourse I said yes. I was happy that he asked me to be his boyfriend. I really couldn't ask someone to be with me.

The rest of the year went pretty smoothly. Nobody suspected a thing. Well I hope no one knows that me and Mick are a thing. We haven't told our "friends" yet. I'm scared that they won't accept us as a gay couple. They might be homophobic.
