Chapter 10

There was a slam at the door making me jump. I was relived to see Summer storm past my room and into hers. Beau turned the music that was quietly playing off and listened next door. There was muffled cries coming from Summer. "She's crying" I say leaping off the bed and running straight into her room.

"What happened?" I say softly hugging her. "Luke. he's such an ass" Summer wiped a few tear away from her brown eyes. "What's he done" I got a little angry.

"He completely embarrassed me tonight, in front of everyone! He had a few drinks and kept pressing about you and your past. Obviously couldn't tell him and kept saying no. He was getting angrier and started shouting at me in front of everyone. It was so humiliating" Summer looked down and started to cry even more.

"A-are you okay?" Beau was standing in the door way. Summer didn't say anything. I was so angry at this point, what is this shits problem! "Beau stay here please" I stood up and stormed over to next door.

I bang on the door while shouting Lukes name and he eventually opens it.

"What the fuck is your problem?" I shouted. "What?" he huffed "Is there something you might want to come to me and ask rather than embarrass my sister like that?? My life story is not one single ounce of your business, OK?" My eyes were seeing red. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have pressed but we have been together so long I thought it was time I knew" Luke replied.

"Luke this is not some little secret, this is something extremely deep and personal. If your problem is with me, you need to shout at me not her" There was no reply "Now please go make things right and maybe me and you could talk about this another time. My voice calm but stern

Luke walked in and sat down next to Summer while I closed the door behind me and Beau leaving them to talk.

"A-are you okay?" Beau stuttered. "Yeah, it's my sister. She means everything to me" i look down and play with my hands. "Come here" Beau pulls me into his lap .

An hour later Summer and Luke comes downstairs. "Ahh all sorted?" Beau cluelessly asks.

I woke up with a peaceful Beau lying next to me, his arms wrapped round my waist. I smile at the sight of his messy bed hair and the way his head is leaned into my neck. I slowly reach for my phone and unlock it I got another text.

Unknown; I'm coming for you. Baby. -J

My heart sank. If this was who I thought there will be instructions to follow soon i know how he works.

Still not wanting to bother anyone with this I turn off my phone and lie back down.

"Hello darling, come on in" Gina said. I walked into the kitchen and found a unfamiliar face standing next to Gina. "Hi I'm Chris, nice to meet you" He shock my hand and I smiled. Beau came down and gave Chris a dirty look. "Let's go for a drive" Beau seemed in a bad mood.

We walked out to his car and got in. "Hey who was that? with your mum?" I quietly ask knowing that whoever it was was the reason for his mood. "Chris, mums new boyfriend" Beau spat. "Why don't you like him?" I ask again. "I do, I just don't want him to be like my dad" I was confused on what he meant by that but I didn't want to ask more about it.

The care ride and silent I was to afraid to talk. We pulled up at the beach car park. "Have I done something wrong?" I ask in leaning my head of his shoulders. "Noo" He laughs at me "Its not you, I'm sorry to take it out on you" Beau finally smiles, his hand locking with mine.

As I get back home I turn my phone back on, a few texts come through

Unknown; Let's meet up for a chat, Baby- J

Unknown; The usual bar 11pm tomorrow night. Dress in the usual leather attire too.
