Third Person POV

Someone yelled "Echizen! Are you really going to play with that 2nd year regular?" Ryoma didn't seem phased and just continued getting ready to play, no longer in his school uniform and had his hat on.

Two girls were talking and one said "Sa.. Sakuno. Do you know him?" Sakuno responded with "Um.. Yeah. A little... " her friend found her lucky.

Meanwhile Ryoma was finally done getting ready for the match. One of the two bullies from earlier said "Hold on, Momoshiro!! You can't...!!" he was cut off by Momoshiro covering his mouth and saying, "So what?! I won't tell that you were picking on the juniors." The bullie was still concerned and said "But still...". Momoshiro walked up to the net and started to talk to Ryoma, "I heard from the old lady counselor you know how to do the twist serve?"

Some people were confused by what a twist serve was so Horio said "Generally speaking, it's the reverse of the slice serve that turns left!! But in table tennis, unlike the slice, it bounds when there is a top spin." Momoshiro had to explain it because Horio was trying to sound smart, "So in other words, the ball flies straight towards your face." someone random in the group said "Ohh, how scary." Momoshiro then said "There aren't many juniors who can do the twist serve, right?" Rayko yelled "HEY! RYOMA, I GOTTA RUN. I'LL SEND YOU A RIDE. SHOW STARTS AT 9:00 AND SEE IF MOMOSHIRO WOULD LIKE TO JOIN, I'D LIKE TO TALK WITH HIM MORE." Ryoma said "Okay!" as Rayko ran off to get ready for his show.

Ryoma said "Hurry up and start the game." Momoshiro responded with a simple "Fine. Which side?" Ryoma said "Smooth(Front)." "Too bad, it's rough(back)." Momoshiro stated. Momoshiro then said "I'll let you serve. I'm going to use this side of the court." Hayashi and Ikeda both said "WHAT?! WHY AREN'T YOU SERVING FIRST?!!" Momoshiro simply stated "Because I want to see that twist serve first!". Horio yelled "CAN I BE THE REFEREE FOR THIS MATCH?!" "Oh, go ahead." Momoshiro responded.

Both Momoshiro and Ryoma were ready to start as Horio yelled "THE BEST OF ONE SET! ECHIZEN SERVICE PLAY!". Ryoma threw the ball up and hit it toward Momoshiro. Momoshiro was frozen for a minute as Hayashi said "HE STARTED WITH AN ACE?!" well Ikeda yelled "FAST!". The two females from earlier were talking, one named Domoka said "Awesome! He's really good in tennis! Let's cheer for him, cheer!". Momoshiro then said "I refuse the slice serve. You don't have to be so stingy." Ryoma looked at him well, responding "I don't want to." Horio said the score was 15 - 0. Momoshiro thought 'Shit. Arrogant brat, Eh?'

Ryoma got ready to serve again when the girl named Sakuno recognized the serve and said "Oh! The twist serve!" her friend Domoka was confused and said "Huh?". The twist serve hit the ground and instead of shooting past Momoshiro it went straight at him, the twist serve hit the racket out of Momoshiro's hand. The two shocked upperclassmen yelled "AMAZING! THAT'S THE TWIST SERVE?!" well everyone else was surprised or shocked by the serve. That was except for the two girls. Momoshiro regained his composure and said "Ah, scared me back there." Ryoma responded by asking "You okay?" This surprised Momoshiro but he soon glared at Ryoma and said "That punk."

Momoshiro's POV

The game was now 30 - 0 in Ryoma's faver 'The ball is sharper than I thought. Then I guess I'll have to go for it when it spins. And to do that...' I thought as Ryoma served another Twist Serve, 'To the front!' I finished my thought as I moved to hit the ball right on the rise "All right! I got it!!" I said. I was then surprised and thought 'No, it didn't work. I couldn't hit it back!!' I kept my cool and said "So even with timing, I can't hit it back... Interesting!" the two other 2nd years said "Momoshiro was overpowered?!!" "The timing was right!! Does that mean the ball has that much strength... in it?!" The kid calling points said "Game 1 - 0! Echizen leads!" someone yelled "NO WAY!! Momoshiro is a member of the regular team!"
