The Mysterious Lake Disappearances

Chapter 1| A Big Mistake

It was a bright and beautiful day as usual I checked my phone for any messages and calls it seemed my friend had called and messaged me he said he was going to a lake he was invited to anonymously he just in case he gave me the address for the lake so being the good friend I was I decided to go check on him for safety. So I walked to my car and drove to the address it said it was only ten minutes away which made it easier for me when I arrived I was confused there was a forest the address said it was down a dirt road I went through the forest there was a metal gate that was open beside of it said abandon lake do not go forth but the person I am says otherwise, so I continue. It started to get darker the farther I went I finally reached the lake I started looking for my friend I found his car, but he was not in sight I yelled his name and no response at then I knew something was wrong here, so I walked around to see if he just couldn't hear me or something. Then I here a noise from a cabin, so I go investigate the noise it was a rat, but I look down and see blood I find where it was coming from no!!! I yell he was beat to death I run to my car and call the cops they arrive and check the area they say there's nothing here and drive back to there station. I go back home and say to myself I'm going back tomorrow to find out what happen at that lake that day and my friend. To be continued.....
