'I don't even know where to start, or how to explain anything...I know this is sudden so, I guess I'll just start right from the beginning where my entire life changed in just one year.'

Shit shit shit, I can't do this. If I back out now there's no way Sasha and Connie would let me leave. Let alone Annie standing out there in the crowd, she'd kick my ass forsure. "Guys, I think I'm going to throw up." I said to Sasha and Connie who were staring at me wondering why I looked sick to my stomach. It didn't take them long to realize my stage fright has definitely gotten the best of me.

"Y/n, we've been working our asses off to get here. I'm sure as hell not going to let you vomit on the crowd." Connie looked at me kind of annoyed, which I guess I get it but it was mere luck to get this gig...right place, right time. Sasha was just watching from afar while eating the tiny subs they had backstage. "Connie, I'm just nervous." I sighed. Connie would never admit it but he's just as nervous as I am, I think we all are.

Sasha finally got up and smiled. "Y/n, don't listen to Connie. No one is throwing up on anyone, and stage fright is totally normally. We look fine as hell right now, and this is our chance to show the world what we have to offer as a band. We're going to kill it tonight!" I sheepishly smiled back at her and realized Marco wasn't around. "Hey guys where's Marco?" I asked hoping he wasn't the one to bail and leave without me.

"I'm right here y/n!" Marco replied from the distance. "I was just watching the other bands preform!" he smiled.

Apparently, I'm the only one who's nervous. Typical. Sasha does have a point, we can finally show the world who we are. Maybe do more than just preform cover songs, if it wasn't for that one guy who heard us practicing we wouldn't be here.

"Is Alex coming?" Marco said confused as to why my own damn boyfriend isn't in the crowd.

"Of course he's not, he's a dick." Connie said while rolling his eyes. "Yeah, I'm gonna have to agree with this one girly." Sasha replied. "I'm surprised you haven't broken up with him."

"Guys, wrong time, wrong place. Let's get this show over first, that's all I'm asking." I replied. Alex isn't the best, I know that. We just have so much history but over time you really do learn who a person is.

They're right, he should be here. He told me he had work things, but no one works this late. Either he's crazy, or just bad at lying. I'm gonna go with option two.

"Hey now, let's leave her be. She's already nervous en-" Marco was cut off by the stage manager "alright guys, you are on next." My eyes got wide, Sasha took my hand and squeezed it. Her look of reassurance and her smile always helps me, she is my best friend after all.

One look and I know what she's saying to me. "Let's go, we got this. Deep breaths." she said while inhaling and exhaling with me.

"Let's go scaredy cat!!" Connie said while rushing onto the stage. "Dick." I said back to him and laughed. Connie was also one of my best friends, he just spoke...differently. Men, am I right?

"Next on stage we have the band Eunoia!!!" the girl said loudly over the mic. The House of Blues went wild, everyone was already hype. It's time, let's do this. Sasha gave me one more reassuring look, Marco gave me a thumbs up, and Connie gave me one head nod. We got this.

(Song suggestion: t r a n s p a r e n t s o u l by Willow Smith)

Annie's POV:

Finally, they're playing. The other bands were great but they're going to kill it. Y/n's voice is amazing, on top of having friends with insane musical abilities. They wanted me to be apart of the band but I declined. Multiple times. I'm okay with watching and listening to the music, I hate being on the spot anyway.

Y/n finally found me in the crowd, I waved as she smiled back pointing at me.

"Transparent soul! I can see right through, just so you know!" I sang with her in the crowd. Willow Smith's new song has been on repeat everywhere, I'm not surprised they're covering this. It's a great song forsure.

"Ow, what the hell. Watch where you're go-" the blonde cut me off,  "I am so so so sorry. Are you okay?!" he looked scared out of his mind.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just watch it." I said loudly since the band was still playing. He was standing there staring at me with a smile.

"What? What are you looking at?" my face got red from embarrassment.

"I'm sorry for running into you." the blonde smiled.

"Oh-okay it's fine." my cheeks were burning, he was cute but shy. What a weird experience. I looked back up to see the song was over, y/n was looking at me with an eyebrow raised while Sasha was mouthing "get it" and obnoxiously pointing. I rolled my eyes and started heading to the back.

Y/N's POV:

"Oh my god, we did amazing!! I think this calls for some food!" Sasha was yelling excitedly. I laughed and Connie put his arm around me and I put one arm around his back. "Good job kid, I knew you could do it. You always do." Connie smiled as he was walking over to Marco. "Connie, are you being...nice?" I jokingly said while following.

"Yeah yeah, don't ruin the moment. Hey, since ya didn't puke on the crowd I think we should get some shots to celebrate!" and we all ran over to the bar shortly after. Since we preformed, drinks and shots were free.

"Let's go to the club down the street!" Connie said while taking his 5th shot.

"YES! Let's go! It's only midnight, we have some time to kill!" Sasha was screaming at this point. She gets kinda crazy when she's drunk.

"I'm down, are you joining y/n?" Marco looked at me.

"Fuck it. We look good, let's continue the celebration." I smiled, Sasha grabbed my hand and we ran out the door. This should be interesting.
