The glass shattered around Henry and Ellie as they busted through the window. It was a miracle that neither of them ended up horribly scratched up or dead.
"DIRECT HIT!" Charles cheered over the communicators, his tail wagging all the way from the helicopter. Ellie pulled herself up, not even looking around before turning to Henry.
"Y.. y'good?"
Henry got up as well, giving a thumbs up and a nod to Ellie. When he heard more feedback from Charles' side of the transmission.
"Alright," he began, "y'gotta be quick here, stop the rocket from taking off, Y'know, like we talked about."
The hedgehog nodded, despite the fact that Charles would not be able to see him. He finally looked forward, only to see a bunch of toppats. It would seem Ellie had finally noticed them as well, as she was trying to intimidate them all with a short snarl. Henry knew he had to come up with something. And fast.
"Uhm..." Ellie began, "We may have sort of a situation..."
"Y'certainly do."
The leader's right hand man, a terrifyingly intimidating coyote, stepped forward. A clear anger expressed in his eyes, most if this seeming hate was more so directed at the hedgehog, but it was more than clear with his tone alone, it was clear he didn't like the fox much either.
"Well, if it ain't Henry Stickmin. We were going to hunt you down once we got into orbit, but now you just fell right into my lap. You and 'yer new partner." The coyote smiled, he couldn't wait to make the one who caused the clan so much distress pay for daring to mess with them.
The hedgehog, in contrast to the coyotes anger, seemed to be thinking of ways to get out of this, he didn't quite know how to deal with this, not here anyway.Ellie turned to look at Henry, getting the idea that whatever Henry did to upset this guy.. had to be pretty bad. Couldn't possibly just be because the clan's airship was taken down, right?
Surely this coyote couldn't want to face them off just for that, right? Whatever the case was, prompted the question from the redhead."What do we do?"
The hedgehog turned to the fox, an idea starting to form in his mind. It was crazy, insane even, but when has something like that ever stopped him?
The hedgehog, trying to be discreet about what he was conveying, made two small figures with his fingers, before mashing them together; hoping that it would convey his plan of action to the fox. While the Fox didn't seem to understand at first, it soon hit her... as she gave a look of disbelief to Henry. Was such a thing even possible? There was only one way to find out. She sharply nodded in agreement to Henry's plan.
The hedgehog stood up, and tilted towards the fox, his hands and fingers outstretched, a fusion stance.
'This is gonna be so weird..' Ellie thought to herself as she did the same. Weird or not, this was the idea she and Henry were going for. Once the two's sets of fingers touched, a blinding light filled the room. Every toppat in the room gasped in awe, amazement, confusion, various emotions. This included the right hand man.
"What..." he audibly mumbled, as he shielded his eyes from the blinding light.
It wasn't until shortly after that he looked again. But instead of a meddling hedgehog and his foxy partner, a singular figure stood. There was no way what he was looking at was real."You..!" The Coyote exclaimed, keeping the snarl in his voice apparent in order to preserve his intimidation, "Who.. what th' hell are you!?"
