the prince.

the one person who is constantly in all of our minds is the prince.

that specific british prince whose grandmother has the most precious and rarest emeralds in the world, that if we manage to steal it, we would be instant billionaires and will not have to work for the rest of our lives since this is a big bonus and break for each one of us.

after we had a run down of the heist, we still have not started the proper preparation and planning for the heist. however, they have all suggested how it would be easier if one of us would have a connection or relationship with the prince, seeing the prince is such a "good kind hearted soul with the purest intentions that can hurt nobody not even a single fly and everyone loves him because he is the people's prince."

their words, not mine.

however, i completely disagree with the statement "who can hurt nobody, not even a single fly" because all i could remember was our last encounter three years ago.

my eyes cast down his chest and my eyes widened when i saw my emerald necklace and it brought me back to reality once again.

"my neck-" i whisper but i stop myself when i look down further on harry's body, examining his white jumper and i choke an audible gasp.

there is bright red blood staining the bottom of his jumper, almost half of his jumper is covered in blood. i look up into his sleeves and there are splatters of blood in the cuff of his white jumper as well.

i look up once again to meet his eyes, my wide eyes staring at his confused eyes in horror, and soon he realises my startled and scared expression.

"i-"

"that's human's blood on your jumper," i whisper, still in shock. it is not like this is my first time seeing blood, but i am confused as to why he has it stained on his jumper.

"don't you need to run away?" harry diverts the topic of the conversation and with that, i am reminded i need to run my arse off.

he steps back further, decreasing our distance. he looks away from me, not connecting our gazes with one another.

"go," harry reminds me and briefly looks up at me.

i nod in shock at him, blinking multiple times to focus myself and bring back my attention.

"now go, darling."

also, sure as hell i would not be the one who will try to befriend him to get more access to the royal palace and details about the royal wedding.

two weeks. two weeks of spending the day with each other catching up. we did not do anything relevant to the plan, instead it was our time to bond with one another, like for the old time's sake. with zayn or now 'pearl' being the newest addition to the team, two weeks seemingly became team building for everyone.

within the two weeks, i had the time to resign from my part time job in the small coffee shop and bid a farewell to emily from the flower shop next door.

and also of course to jaspé and perle.

"london, ma chérie?" perle confusedly asks one afternoon, repeating the city i just told them where i am moving in clarification.

"yes, london. you've both met my friends yesterday, and well they offered me this small job in london and i think it would be a great opportunity to you know, save up for my plans to go to college then after a year i'm gonna go move back here again," i stammer out my excuse, swallowing visibly as i lie flat out in front of jaspé and perle's faces.
