Nobody's POV
In the town of T/N, a moderately sized bookstore stood proud. It was quite popular for the bookworms. A nice and quiet place away from all distractions, whether you want to escape from reality and into a fantasy world, or imagine fighting aliens in outer space. Or perhaps you wish to study for that upcoming exam, or just have a calm and peaceful hangout with friends.An old smell of books and small candle fires always seemed to resonate within the store, it was more of a library if anything. This library always looked ancient, even when it was first built many decades ago. Different sorts of genres lived on the shelves, from mystery to romance, fiction to non-fiction.
A trio of three people sits at the different color beanbags. Each head buried in a different book.
"Dracula by Bram Stoker again? How many times are you going to read that?" My friend, F/N, whisper-asks me, rolling their eyes as they see what Y/N was reading. "I swear, you'll have that memorized before you leave this town." They state, provoking a dry chuckle from their two other friends.
"Well, sorry for actually liking this book-" Y/N starts.
"Written in 1897! God, that is old." B/F/N cuts off.
"Not as old as Frankenstein, written in 1818. Yet it's still good!" the H/C whisper yells at their friends. "Besides, I really like the ambiance of the book."
"Totally, anyways changing the topic, hows that Minecraft group I recommended for you going? I wanna bet $5 that you really like their 'Supernatural Origins' roleplay." B/F/N remarks, promptly holding out their hand as Y/N begrudgingly hands them $5.
"It was enjoyable, felt weird considering the first season didn't have the full original cast but I grew to really enjoy it." Y/N answers, only to have their next statement cut off by their phone ringing. "Oh, it's my brother, s-sorry guys I gotta take this." Y/N worryingly states to their friends, closing Dracula and walking a bit away from the duo, the young adults only able to catch bits and pieces of what their supernatural loving friend was saying before they abruptly hang up and walk back to the group, packing their bags.
"I-I gotta get going guys, sorry." Y/N comments, to receive an "it's no worries." and "it's fine N/N" back in response, putting a smile on their friend's face. Putting Dracula back where it belongs, they wave goodbye to their friend's and to the library's granddaughter at the front desk.
(SO MUCH TIME SPENT ON WORLD-BUILDING!)

Y/N POV
I internally sigh, shutting the door behind me and holding my head in my hands. The joking mood that was set thoroughly destroyed by my brother's call.Taking a deep breath, I walk towards the kitchen and grab a glass and fill it up with water. A lingering feeling of dread resonating within me.
Walking towards the living room, I place my water on the table before collapsing face up on the lounge, my right arm over my eyes. The feeling of the late afternoon sun rays shining on my body. 'Maybe a nap will help clear my head a bit.' I think to myself as I dozed off.
~~~
The sound of bodies falling and faint voices awoke me. Checking my phone (which I forgot I had on me before I fell asleep) it showed back '6:32' am. 'So less a nap and more a sleep, huh' I think, only to be distracted by somebody saying "Where are we?".Immediately waking up, I make note that it came from the basement located under the stairs. Taking cautious steps towards the faint voices, I grab the metal bat, from when my brother played softball and held it firmly in my dominant hand.
Taking a deep breath, I push the door open with my free hand, flicking on the lights to see somebody with red and white hair -that reminds me of Todoroki, but the colours on the wrong side,- and a black, well tailored suit with red accents.
Hissing when the lights turned on, the man -what I can assume due to his posture and body structure- turned to look at me, red eyes and a half blacked out face.
Recognition dawned on me when I realised who this man was, Mitch. As he took one step up the stairs, my legs carried me to the one place I knew where I'd be safe.
Outside in the sun.
Throwing open the door with the bat still firmly in my hand, I rushed outside in direct sunlight turning around to witness Mitch stop at the door, the safest place to be due to the patio blocking the sunlight.
"Hey, calm down, I'm just here to talk-"
"Nope, no way, not happening! I am not risking going over there and having one of you bite me!" I state, holding the bat in front of me protectively. "I know what you guys are."
Behind Mitch appear the other vampires, or to put it simply, all the vampires -excluding Mev- of Mythspire.
Mitch put his hands up defensively, "Ok ok, well there is no need for violence alright."
"Wait, how do they know what we are?" The brown haired, blue eyed boy worth a black and golden design suit replied, Jackson.
"That is unimportant right now, we need them to trust us-" Mitch starts,
"So we can bite them later?" A Orange haired, green eyed boy with a black jacket, dark grey jeans, light grey undershirt and green scarf, cuts off. Colin. Causing me to raise the bat higher, catching Mitch's attention.
"Nobody is hurting anyone, ok?" The old man replies, talking to both his group of vampires and me. "Look, I'll make sure my friends here don't hurt you, alright?" Mitch turned his attention back to me, asking if that was ok.
Staring into his eyes, I slowly lower the bat as I nod, taking various steps towards the group of vampires. Once I enter the house again, I shut the door behind me, and turn to reface the group of bloodsuckers.
"Lets head into the living room to talk this out." I suggest, gesturing towards the place I was previously sleeping in. I see them nod and walk in front of me towards the living room, allowing me to think about what higher up decided to do this to me.
Like I said, I wrote this book with the trope of "What if (fictional world) came to life?" And I will be doing this for the other Origins roleplays.This book is just so all the oneshot ideas don't collapse on me at the same time.
