My eyes were still open and sore from the the unshed tears, when the morning sun seeped through my window and extended a sheet of warm blanket of sunlight across my fragile body. Over the past seven years I had tought myself to embrace the soreness and pain that emitted from the new black and blue bruises that took place over the old ones. I had given up on sheding tears over the pain that I knew would never leave me along untill the day my soul finally becomes exhausted and gives up on my tiny, weak body.

The physical abuse didn't really haunt me as much, since I as a werewolf, which meant that my body was able to recover faster than the normal human beings. What haunted me the most was the harsh taunting words father would throw at me now and then, after a good beating. To be honest he terrified the living day light out of me. There was no one in the world that I feared as much as I feared my father. He as a short tempered man, who always took out his frustrations out on me after getting imensly drunk. However, my father was not always this heartless and cold blooded. There was a time- when I younger and my mother was still alive- my father doted on me dearly and spoiled me rotten.

Hell, he was the most powerful man in our pack after Alpha Waltz. He was the strong Beta who always looked after his pack and cared for everybody in his pack so much that with out a question he would give up his life protecting them. I was proud to call him my father and often bragged about him to all my school friends.

But that had to all end when my mother was killed by intruding rouges, while trying to protect my ten year old self. The memory of that nightmare is still crisp clear in my memory till this day-------

I was outside, my skinny legs splayed out on the grass, while I played with my dolls.

My mother was inside the house cooking up something delicious for lunch, that mixed in with the air as it traveld ouside through the window and difused through my nostrils, making my stomach growl in hunger.

I looked back over my shoulder to smile at my mother who was grining at me through the open windo when she caught me staring at her with with a huge grin on my mouth and then she chuckled when I licked my lip and drooled a little. "the more minutes" she yelled sticking her head through and laughed as I grunted impatiently.

Suddenly my mother's laugh came to an aburpt stop and her amused expression was replaced with one full of fear and her bulged out and her lips parted in a small gasp.

I quickly whiped my head around to see what it was that she was gasping at and came face to face with a vicous looking gray wolf wat was staring at me with terrifying eyes as it stood few feet away from where I sat.

My body shook in fear as I took it it's apearence. The gray coat of the wolf's fur was covered with blood spots from placed to place. It's bloodshot wyes glared bulets at me as it bared it's elongated, yellow teeth at me as if it was getting ready to punce on me any second and dig those needle sharp canes trough the soft skin of my neck.

"NICKIIIIIIII GET BACK!!!!!! GET UP HUNNY!!!!! COME TO MOMMY RIGHT NOW!!!!!" My mother screamed through the full force of her lumch as she brust out from the backdoor and sprinted towards me.

Before I could blink an eye I gasped wide eyed as the gray wolf pushed off its back paws and lunged towards me. I quickly squeezed my eyes shut prepared for my head to be ripped out of my throat and the blood to gush out and stain the soft cotton fabric of my sundress.

I waited for the pain that never came. Was I dead? Is it over? Am I in heaven? How come it didn't hurt? The last question struck me as I flipped open my eye in the speed of light.

What I saw next scared me for the rest of my life. The gruesome large canes of the rouge dug into my mother's soft brown far while her blood spilled from her neck forming a thick red puddle on the dirt and grass of our lushes lawn. Her light green eyes remained on me as she whimpered in sadness and pain. A look that told me that she grieved of never seeing her daughter ever again. My eyes became bloody with tears and I screamed bloody murder in the most ear-piercing screech that could shatter a thousand glass windows. My head spin in circles and black dots began invading my vision. Before I passed out and dropped to the floor, I watched my father burst out through the back door screaming my mothers name as he transformed into his dark brown wolf and lunged towards the rouge that snapped my mothers neck and froze her body in place for an ever lasting sleep.
*end of flash back*
I crawled and dragged my broken and battered body to the small bathroom attached to my bedroom wall. I forced my shaky body to stand up while I clutched in to the ceramic sink. I striped down to my underwear and looked at myself on the full body mirror. My stomach was covered in black and blue bruises. One of my rib bone looked out of place. My arms were full of scratch marks and large gushed up brushes. Dry blood stuck to my nose and lips, while dark circles decorated my eye sockets. My eyes were the color of deep forest medow but the color looked drained and there was no life or shine to it. My baby pink lips were split in half and my complexion was paler than a white sheet of paper.
