I agreed to stay while they ask me some questions, but I still began the process of packing up my things in preparation of leaving as soon as they were finished - of course, not before shrugging Suou's hand off of my arm so I could move freely.
"What's your name?" Suou looked eager, awaiting my response quite impatiently while I busied myself with sheets of music.
I didn't bother taking a second to pause in my actions, merely responding, "and what obligation do I have to tell you? I don't even know who you are either." I was sure to speak in my natural lower tones, glancing up at them with a blank look as I lied. Of course, I knew who they were, I'm here because of them.
Suou looked quite shocked, gasping at the fact that I responded in such a way. I wasn't going out of my way to be rude, I just wanted to avoid their questions for as long as possible.
Otori - not skipping a beat, promptly turned to the Hitachiins with an eyebrow slightly raised. "Twins?" He asked, hoping for them to answer.
"Well, you see..." Koaru started, sharing a look with his brother, who took over.
"He goes by Okami, but," - they continued, speaking together - "we don't know if that's his real name." They shrugged in unison.
Otori pushed his glasses up on his nose with an agitated sigh as he looked back at me. I stared right back unflinching, which I could only assume was getting on his nerves even more.
"My name is Kyoya Otori, this here is Tamaki Suou," he finally started the proper introductions, pointing at the airheaded blonde boy next to him as he spoke. "Those two are the cousins, Takashi Morinozuka and Mitskuni Haninozuka, but you can call them Mori and Honey. And, I'm assuming you've met the twins and Haruhi since you're in the same class. So, you are?"
I gave a slight bow before returning to putting my things in the proper places in my backpack. "Then, it's a pleasure to meet all of you. However, I would still be comfortable if you simply referred to me as Okami, as the twins said before."
Otori - clearly losing his cool because of my vague responses, began to question me again with a sharpness seeping out of his tone. "How is it that you are even able to attend this school? You are nowhere in school records, there is absolutely no information about you. No pictures, no name, nothing. Why is that?"
With a slight tilt of my head and raise of my eyebrow, I responded, "apologies, Otori, but I still don't understand what business you have asking me such questions."
"Yeah, Kyoya that's enough, that's Okami's personal business and we don't have a right to ask about that-"
"Get out."
Otori cut Fujioka off, leaving her looking shocked.
The protective instinct I seem to have grown towards her instantly kicked in, and I straightened up as I made eye contact with the smaller girl.
"What on earth did I do? Forget about not having the right to ask Okami things, what gives you the right to talk to me like that huh?" She huffed, but I was glad to see that she wouldn't just back down.
"Get. Out." Otori merely repeated himself, harsher this time as he looked to Morinozuka and jerked his chin towards the door.
Morinozuka took the hint, quickly grabbing a hold of both Fujioka and leading her, the twins, and his smaller cousin to the door before closing it on them, leaving just me, Otori, Suou, and Morinozuka in the room.
Fujioka had struggled against him all the way to the door, making me flinch slightly in their direction - the urge to put a stop to it so strong I almost acted on it right then and there, but I held myself back and merely resorted to staring directly into Otori's eyes, who I knew was the one controlling this situation.
