3rd Person POV
Milo was laying on his floor staring at the ceiling as he continued to think about the dream, his reddish/brown hair falling in his diamond-like eyes, his heart racing, he was breathless. There was a sudden knock on his door, it was T, his only child. Milo was well known in his apartment for being a single dad, no one ever knew he had a partner so they just assumed he was adopted. Milo was pulled away from his thoughts as the knocking increased. He was soon being dragged by T's tiny hands wrapped around his ankles.
"Dad! C'mon, lets go already!"
Milo let out a small laugh as T continued to try and drag him. It was T's friend's birthday today and they were already running late to the party. Less than a minute later they were rushing outside of the building reaching the car park. They started the car and began to drive away.
(Play song here)
When they reached the party it was as Milo had expected, the house was covered in decorations which were all pink. T's friend loved the colour pink, in fact they loved it an unhealthy amount. The front garden was covered in kids running around chasing after Princes and Princesses.
T shot out the car and ran across the street to the house before meeting up with the birthday girl. Milo was startled by this and began to rush out the car grabbing the present T had forgotten. He stepped up to the house looking for his tiny child. As he was searching around, he knocked into something or even someone, causing him to stumble slightly.
"Are you alright?" A grumbly voice asked him.
"Hm? Oh yeah, I'm alright, I wasn't looking where I was going." Milo replied.
"Well no shit, you knocked straight into me." The voice replied in a rather harsh tone.
"Dude, you knocked me into the balloons! My hair looks like Frankenstein now." A voice called from further behind.
Milo eventually looked up to the human stood in front of him because there was a large height difference between them. Milo was '5"9 when the stranger was '6"5.
"I really could not care less." The guy in front said in a harsh tone. As Milo continued to look up to their face he noticed many freckles splattered across their nose, most of them covered by a black mask hiding their eyes. A beanie covered the back half of their purple hair. He looked like the guy in his dream.
"Am I really that much of a sight?" The purple haired man asked with a small chuckle as a smirk spread across his face.
"What? No, I mean yes! Wait what?" Milo couldn't help but stutter with his words confused at his statement.
"It was a joke, no need to get all flustered." The man stared down at him his smirk now fading into a blank stare.
"Right, I knew that." Milo responded suddenly going red. "I'm Milo!" He held out his hand for the man to shake.
The 6 foot figure stared at his hand and added "Cool." before walking away leaving Milo stood alone with his hand hanging in the air, a shocked face.
After Milo gathered himself he saw the white haired guy who wore a white bunny hat who had started arguing with another adult. When they turned to look at him Milo quickly ran away to continue the search for his now lost kid. The faint sound of high-pitched voices giggling and laughing. He eventually found T and gave him the present to give to his friend.
The parents who were running the party told the other parents to go home and that they'd tell them when the party was over. Milo was about to leave when he saw the white haired bunny guy who was behind the tall purple haired stranger walk into the house, they made eye contact before disappearing into the house. He thought nothing of it then and headed to his car.
Traffic had built up and the blazing heat still didn't help when he was trapped in his small car with his windows down with no breeze.
Milo waited there for cars to move until smoke started to fly past and the sound of sirens came from behind him. He turned around but couldn't see anything because of the truck that sat behind.
He began to get a sick feeling in his stomach thinking about what if it were the party. The traffic started to move but Milo wasn't going to leave until he knew that T was safe. He got out of his car and ran as fast as he could to the house.
The sirens got louder.
The smoke got thicker.
And the house was in flames.
