I wanted to thank (again) all of you who supported and who keep reading this amazing story. Thank you everyone!
Lastly, there's another jenlisa adaptation coming very soon, probably next week. I'll post the teaser here (after the epilogue) so you guys don't miss it!
Again, credits to lostariels, who let me adapt this. Enjoy!

They waited and waited.
Over a month passed, and Lisa tried her best to remain cheerfully optimistic about the silence, if only to make everyone else worry less. If anything, it only made her sister and Jennie worry more, because they knew just how cold and cunning an ancient vampire could be, especially if they were going rogue, and they felt like they were waiting for the other shoe to drop. The suspense was almost killing them. It wasn't until another month passed by that they got a reply.
Rolling over and groaning, Jennie reached for her phone.
"Good morning!" Lisa sang from the kitchen, and Jennie gave her a loving smile.
"Good morning, sunshine," Jennie laughed. "You're in a good mood this morning."
"Sunshine? Ouch, are you mocking me?" Lisa laughed, darting to Jennie's side with a cup of coffee. She leant down kissed her, and Jennie smiled as she pushed against her cold lips. Taking a sip of coffee, she looked around for her clothes, and her shirt hit her in the face as Lisa flicked it towards her with a laugh. Giving her an exasperated look, Jennie set her coffee down and shrugged the shirt on, before glancing down at her phone screen.
"Hey are you okay? Your heart just skipped a beat," Lisa said from the kitchen, leaning away from the stove so that she could glance at Jennie.
Smiling, Jennie drained her coffee and stood up. "Yeah, it's just, uh, my mom wants to have a talk."
"Sounds serious," Lisa said, her forehead furrowing in concern. Jennie let out a quiet laugh, walking to the kitchen and smoothing away the wrinkles.
"I have to go now, I'm sorry. I can't stay for breakfast," Jennie murmured, giving her a sad smile.
Lisa glanced down at the eggs she was already scrambling in the pan, and grimaced as she turned the gas off. "No problem. Make sure you eat something though, okay? For me."
Jennie swallowed thickly, looking down at her hands as she fiddled with her fingers. "I promise." Plastering a bright smile on her face, she looked up at Lisa, and gave her a quick kiss. "I'm just going to get changed quickly."
She didn't bother showering, she just grabbed all of her clothes, slipping them on and putting on her shoes. A few minutes later she was ready to go, running a hand through her tangled hair. Casting another look at her, Jennie slowly walked over to her, smiling softly at her as she cradled her face in her hands.
