"No matter where life may take us, I will come find you. We'll meet again. Don't worry." Keigo wipes the tears away from his brother's eyes. "Don't cry, Angel. Keep positive. Be strong for your big brother, okay?"
"I don't want to be apart from you," Angel hiccups, crying. "You're all that I've got."
The words sting Keigo's heart, but he gives the other a painful smile. He pulls the other close, kissing the top of his head. They're going to come to collect him at any time, so they have to be quick. "Listen to me, always have a positive mindset. Never let anyone knock you down, you hear me? No one. You'll go to a nice family with nice food and a warm home. In fact, they said they're picking you up tomorrow. I'll try to send many letters as I can."
"Keigo, it's time to leave," A soft voice comes from the doorway. Keigo sighs, squeezing Angel's hands one last time before picking up his suitcase.
"I love you, Angel. I love you so much," Keigo gives him another kiss on the head before following the lady out to the front. He clutched the feather necklace, trying to keep his tears at bay.
He doesn't hear his brother crying in their room.
