••~two months earlier~••

The Sun shone through the curtains creating small ripple patterns on her face. The sun in Summer always felt fiery to Fiona and in summer she was always felt weaker than normal. She didn't know why but she was changing and she didn't know if it was good or not but all she could feel is a pull to the cold.

She quickly closed the curtains as she got up to the bathroom, the sun feeling as though it had started to burn her skin as she sprinted quickly to the on suite. She looked in the mirror and saw what she thought was her face but looked like it was half burnt off.

She wanted to scream, she really did but with her hung over father in the house and at this hour of the morning not getting beaten was her only thought. She quickly turned on the cold tap and splashed her face with the cold water and sighed with relief as the pain went away. When she looked back up in the mirror the burn was gone. It had disappeared like it was only a hallucination or a dream.

But it wasn't, hallucinations don't feel that real and the room felt visibly colder when she started to hear cracks come from around her. She placed a finger on the mirror in front of her and as she did in less than a second it turned to ice and smashed before her onto the shiny white tiled floor. She knew it had made a commotion and was standing there prepared for her father to come in but the only one who appeared in front of her was her mother's old house elf Dee Dee.

For a second she was confused as to why he wasn't here but then she remembered that this weekend him and her three brothers had gone to the countryside for werewolf hunting. She never really saw the appeal in this particular sport and honestly thought it was cruel and animalistic, but never questioned her father on it as when her mother used to you could hear the screams all night.

Since the passing of her mother two months ago she had been distanced by her Brothers and father, she didn't know why but she had a distinct feeling that they were keeping something very big from her and she wanted to know what. Her house elf looked confused as to why she had found the young mistress in a room frosted with ice and in a puddle of cold water.

"Mistress" her squeaky house elf's voice spoke up.
"Let's clean this up before your father gets back shall we, or we will both be in trouble."

"W-What's happening to me Dee Dee."
She stuttered not from the Cold but from the sheer terror that what had happened was real.

"I think that you are a lot more like your mother than you or anyone else thought."

                           ••~~••

"So Fiona what were you doing while we were away I hope you didn't waste your time your bedroom moping about and you better not of broken anything."
He father spoke at the dinner table a week later.

"Of course not father I read at the start of the day, painted with my art tutor before lunch, revised for my schoolwork after lunch and stargazed at night for astronomy work. Just like you told me." She sighed.

"Well me and your brothers did pretty well, we injured one werewolf and nearly killed another before that pesky friend of yours Amelia Lestrange stopped her father from shooting it."

"Just you wait, she's going to get disowned soon especially after doing what she did. Have you heard she got in a fight with Lucius Malfoy at school she shouldn't be in their house with her traitor  blood." Her oldest brother Barron jr stated as if it were nothing in his emotionless tone.

"They won't hurt her will they." Fiona asked in a worried tone trying to keep down the tears. Her and Amelia had been best friends since the day they were born and knowing this information pained her since Fiona was always the one who protected her before she transferred to hogwarts.

"They better she deserves it that foul kid, deserves everything that comes her way."
Her father grimaced as he spoke.
She wanted to speak up to her father she really did but he was a powerful man and wherever she went she wouldn't be able to escape him.

After the meal she asked to leave as she said she wasn't feeling well and went up to her room. She was so filled with rage that as soon as the door shut she threw what looked like a snowball at the wall.
She already knew she was cryokinesis and hydroknesis meaning she could control ice and water but snow was a new thing.

This power it could be her escape from her father, from her family and from the arranged marriage. Not like she didn't want to marry Sirius black but she didn't want to do it like this, forcefully. She had always had a crush on him since they were young and he was the first person to really understand her, but she knew he didn't feel the same towards her and he never will and she wasn't going to force that.

She was pulled out of her thoughts as a owl flew through the widow and dropped a letter on her bed before flying swiftly out. That was weird she hardly ever got post from anyone except Amelia and she had sent a letter earlier that day. When she picked up the letter and saw the ministry stamp on the front she immediately grabbed her letter opener and sliced it open.

Fiona stared at the letter in shock and disbelief, her father was trying to take away what her mother had left her. Tears pooled in her eyes but were quickly demolished with a look of mischief and a smirk as a plan made it's way into her mind .

She picked up her quill and a piece of parchment and started to write her plan to Amelia.

This was it, her escape.
