Once George was done with his lesson, he was quick to pack up his bag, ready to see Dreams performance, only to be stopped by Cara, "George! What's the rush?" The brit bit his cheek, "There's this thing I wanted to watch, new show you know!" It wasn't much of a lie, but he still felt bad
Cara looked at him skeptically, "You never got excited about stuff like this before?" George looked away, "This one helps me figure out the contest." Cara smiled, "Well then, I guess that's understandable, have a nice time George." She murmured, moving aside to let him pass, "See you tomorrow Mrs. Cara!" He exclaimed, running past her.
It didn't take long for him to find Dreams performance, the street dancer had been looking for a song, the crowd waiting patiently, George recognized some of them, but there were a lot of new faces as well. As soon as someone noticed him, they loudly whispered, "He's here!" Dream snapped his head up, scanning the crowd until he saw George, he waved to the brit.
"Hey! Perfect timing, c'mere, I can't pick a song." George smiled, sauntering over, grabbing his phone out of his backpack. Dream hovered over his shoulder to see what song he was picking, to which George covered his phone, smirking at the dancer, "No looking, it's a surprise." Dream stared at him with surprise, then shrugged, "Alright then..."
George finally found a song, a wide grin on his face. He switched his phone screen off, lightly humming along with the tune, walking over to Dream. The song fully started, George singing along with the lyrics, Dream being the only one to really hear his singing,
"Sometimes all I think about is you,"
Dream chuckled, humming along as they started their dance. George was a lot more confident today, Dream wondered if it was because the brit knew the song. He spun around, his back landing right into Dreams arms, making the crowd cheer loudly, he looked up smiling, still singing along, though it was faint, he could hear Dream singing the song.
"You can't fight it you can't breath..."
"You say something so loving..."George pushed away from the street dancer, a smirk on his face as he continued to dance along, looking over his shoulder to see Dream trying to keep up the dance. They didn't realize as the song came to an end, how close they were getting to eachother, until the song ended, when they spun around to face eachother, faces close, their noses almost touching.
The crowd fell into a loud cheer, George glancing at them, a small smile on his face. Dream backed away, facing the crowd, "That's all! I uh, I hope you enjoyed this dance! Tomorrow I won't be performing, got some shit to do." The crowed booed, making him laugh, "I know, I know, I hate it too, but don't worry, when I come back, I'll make sure you all can hear me." He winked, making most of the girls in the crowd giggle.
The crowd left, Dream turning to George , who looked a bit upset, "Hey... what's up?" The masked dancer asked, concerned, "It's nothing." George murmured, covering his disappointment and jealousy with a smile, "I was actually wondering..." Dream looked at him, tilting his head, "What were you wondering?"
George smiled widely, "Can you help me figure out how to do freestyle?" Dream widened his eyes, then nodded, "One condition though," George perked with interest, "What's that?" Dream stayed silent then laughed a little, "Could you teach me figure dancing?"
George let out a laugh, "Isn't your mom already like, a famous figure dancer? Why don't you ask her?" Dream rubbed the back of his head, "I uh.... don't want her to know that I'm actually interested." George laughed even harder, making Dream blush under his mask, "That's funny, fine... I'll help you on that, when can we start?"
Dream pondered, "Well, I'm technically free tomorrow, I just didn't want to preform tomorrow to be very honest," he admitted, making George grin, "Oh you baddie, how could you lie to your precious fans?" He feigned, making Dream laugh loudly, "Hey, you don't know life like a street dancer who drags in a large crowd!" George shrugged,
