Forgotten (Twilight Sparkle x Pegasus Reader)

((Y/n)'s POV)

Ahh, Twilight Sparkle the Princess of friendship with all her friends and- uh I know I should be happy for her and I am but how is she the princess of friendship when she can't even remember her first friend. ME.

Ok so I could probably explain a bit back when the two of us were both fillies and Twilight was Celestia's student she would go out to the courtyard to study or read I would sneak up on her and we would hang out. Sure she was resistant to having a 'distraction' but I was lonely and persistent and she eventually grew to like me and we became friends.

*Flashback*

Twilight was laying under a tree reading her book. Perfect and flew up into the tree and snuck to the branch right above her. I was about to jump down and scare her when I was started by her voice.

"I know your up there (Y/n) so just come down," she said without even looking up from her book but it frightened me and I fell and landed right next to her.

"H-Hi Twilight. How ya doing"

"Well reading then you uhh dropped in" She giggled her giggle is adorable I can't help but giggle along with her.

"Haha very funny you startled me I didn't know you knew I was up there I was trying to scare you"

"You come here to hang out with me at the same time every day. Did you think I wasn't going to catch on?" She finally looked up from the book.

"Well uhh to be honest I didn't pick up on it myself until you pointed it up"

We sat in silence just enjoying each other presents. Suddenly I had an idea. "Hey, do you want to go on an adventure?"

"Adventure?" She looked like she had never even heard of the word before.

"Wow, Twilight you are such a nerd. Let's go explore something, discover something new. Let's go on an adventure!" I exclaim hovering off the ground a little with my excitement. 

"Come on it will be fun"

"I don't know about that it seems dangerous" uhh she's still skeptical.

"Uhh Twi come on" I smirk getting an idea "Twi if you discover something new you might become famous and get in or of those books you spend so much time studying"

She lights up but she tries to hide that she is excited "Ok I'll go on an adventure with you"

"Yay lets go" I get up and stand right in front of her expectedly

"Oh you meant now ok let me just put my stuff away" She teleported everything away to what I assume was her room. She got up from her sitting position and stood next to me.

"So ahh where are we going exactly?" Twilight asked

"Oh, I don't know we could go anywhere really."

We eventually decided to take the train from wherever we were and get off at 7 stops and go from there. We got off at what looked like the base of a mountain so we searched to the mountain and found many caves but then we came upon one with a strange light green glow.

"(Y/n) do you think this is a good idea. It could be dangerous"

"Yeah but it could also be educational" I sing-songed and yah know its fun to use her weakness agist her. Wow, that sounds so bad but I think we both know it's mostly fun and games.

She sighs and we walk further into the cave. " Wow, this is so fun. Are you having fun Twi?"

She giggled I little bit "You know your the only person in all of Equestria that calls me Twi? But yeah I'm having fun I mean I'm a bit scared but I'm having fun with you."

"Really? Twi just fits you so well. I'm surprised nobody else calls you that"

"Well your kind of my only friend"

"Oh I bet one day you're going to have so many friends and all of them will call you Twi, you will be loved by so many people I just know it"

"Yeah, I highly doubt that. Nobody is as persistent as you. You just keep coming back"

"ahh what can I say, I'm incredibly stubborn and was lonely"

At this point, we are just standing in the cave talking with me hovering in front of Twilight "How could ponies not like you? You're so full of energy and great to be around"

"We most ponies say I'm a little crazy" I do a twist as I say crazy. Suddenly I see the light from before glow brighter and I am in some sort of trance and I'm getting pulled towards it. I can still comprehend what's going on around me but I can't help flying towards the light. 

Twilight is yelling at me to stop but I can't. Eventually, I come to a light green orb and it sets off a blast and everything goes black.

(Twilight's POV)

I see (Y/n) going towards the light and then there is a blast and I sleid my eyes but when I open them she's on the floor not moving. I run over to her, she's not breathing "No (Y/n) please...please don't go...please."

The ball that set of the blast floated towards me.

"There is a way you can save her. I am the guardian of the spherical. You can save her but it will come with a price?"

"What's the price?"

"You will forget you and your friend came to this cave but that is the only memories you will lose, you will you lose all your memories of (Y/n). You won't remember you meet her, you won't remember anything. I'm sorry but that's the way it has to be. The choice is yours"

"D-Do it! I'd rather have her live than let her die. I'd rather lose my memories of her than knowing I could have saved her and didn't"

There was another bright flash and everything went black.

-Time Skip-

I woke up in my bed I was confused I don't remember going to bed anyway might as well start today's studies I gather all my things say bye to spike and start walking with my nose in a book when I suddenly bump into somepony.

I looked up to see a pegasus looking distraught. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry I did not see you there guess I was so caught up in my book and I'm sorry who are you?"She whispered something under her breath something about not remembering. "I...I'm nobody important but I best be on my way."

-Time Skip-

I'm hanging out with my new friends. Applejack and Rarity are chatting. Fluttershy is playing with Angel bunny and Pinkie is watching Rainbow do tricks. Rainbow flies down and everybody gathered on the picnic blanket. Suddenly I hear my name being called by Dash

"Twi?...Twi?"

"I'm sorry w-what did you call me?"

"Twi... it's just a nickname it's a shorter version of your name"

I then got this flashes of a pegasus pony us under the tree we used to study but the picture is blurry. I knew someone had called me Twi before I just don't know who but I have a strong feeling it has something to do with that pegasus but I can't remember her name or exactly what she looks like but I can tell she had (color) coat and a (color) mane.

"Twilight are you ok? I won't use the nickname if you don't want me to"

"n-no it's not that I'm ok really. let's just go back to the picnic"

-Time Skip-

*PRESENT*

((Y/n)'s POV)

I'm in my house just chilling in my house when I hear a knock at the door. I get up and open the door and the Twilight. I bow because y'know princesses and all.

"That not necessary"

I get up "May I ask the reason why you came here?"

She starts to tear up a little before saying "(Y-Y/n)" and she comes in to hug me "(Y/n) I remember" I started tearing up as well and hugged her back. She remembered me.

"T-Twi"
