VSOO - Unexpected Love [Completed]

Taehyung POV:

It's been 4 months since Jisoo and I have been married. Although we only see each other during weekends, I get to know her more in every little interaction we have. Today is Monday but I decided to take another day off from work. I'll go with Jisoo today to see her doctor for her monthly checkup.

Taehyung: "Are you ready?" He asked.

Jisoo: "Yeah." She smiled a bit.

They got into the car and Taehyung started driving. The ride going to the hospital was quiet.

Jisoo: "Why am I extra nervous today? I never felt this way." She thought. She slightly gazes at Taehyung whose eyes are focused on the road.

They reached the hospital and waited for the doctor to be available.

Dr. Min: "Hi Mrs. Kim, how have you been doing? Oh, who's with you? She was surprised by Taehyung's visual.

Jisoo: She nodded and said, "I've been better these past few days." She smiled.

So, the doctor prepared Jisoo for an ultrasound and went through the process.

Dr. Min: "The baby is looking healthy. This is the heart; these are the cute little feet." She went on to show them what's being captured during the ultrasound.

Taehyung: Shocked. "What is this feeling? I don't understand why I feel this way." He thought. While Jisoo was glancing at him looking at his reactions.

The session ended and they're on their way home.

Taehyung: "Do you want something to eat? We can buy anything you want. Just tell me." He said.

Jisoo: "Huh?" She looked at him. "Nothing. I still have ice cream in the fridge. I'm good with that." She's confused but she managed to answer.

Taehyung: "No, let's check what they have in the nearest restaurant. Maybe the baby wants something else." He insisted.

Jisoo: "Ow, okay." She said. "What's wrong with him." She thought.

After buying some sweets, Jisoo and Taehyung arrived home. Hours passed. Jisoo noticed that Taehyung has been checking on her from time to time. Jisoo started to like the feeling brought by Taehyung's gestures. She started to miss him when he's not around.

It was a quiet evening, Taehyung and Jisoo are having their dinner.

Taehyung: "Eat this. It's good for you and the baby." He said while putting some salad on Jisoo's plate.

Jisoo: "Okay, Thank you." Smiled.

They were eating when Taehyung's phone rang.

Taehyung: "What do you want?" He slightly gazed at Jisoo.

Person on the phone (slightly audible to Jisoo): "I miss you!"

Taehyung: Got up and went to the patio near the dining area. "Hey, did you just really called to say that?" He was trying to lower his voice.

Person on the phone (not audible to Jisoo): "When are we going to meet?". She asked

Taehyung: "We just met last week."

Person on the phone (not audible to Jisoo): "But I wanted to be with you again!"

Taehyung: "Fine, I'll see you tomorrow. Bye!"

Although Taehyung went far from Jisoo, she manages to hear what he was saying. From what she heard; she knew that he's talking to his lover. This hurt Jisoo's feelings; she tried so hard not to cry.

Taehyung: (Now back at the table) Cleared his throat. "I'm done with my meal. Do...you want something else? I'll get it for you." He asked looking at her.

Jisoo: "Hmmm. I'm good too. I'll go to my room now." She said without looking at him.

Taehyung was left at the table looking at Jisoo going upstairs.

Jisoo POV:

She quickly went to her room and locked the door.

Jisoo: "Jisoo-ya! Pull yourself together!" She said. "Why are you crying? Why do you feel this way? You're just the mother of his child, not someone special to him. Fix yourself!" She said to herself while trying to hold back her tears.

By then, Jisoo already knew that she has special feelings for Taehyung. She told herself that she will stop her feelings from growing as she is not expecting Taehyung to have the same for her.
