Knock knock

Yuuji knocks on the door of the hospital room, where sat Sasaki senpai who had her head down with Iguchi laying on one of the beds. She notices us a looks up "Itadori, L/n." She says in a low tone.

"How's Iguchi-senpai doing?" Yuuji asks. "The doctors say he's fine, but he hasn't regained consciousness." She replys.

"It's all my fault. If I hadn't asked him to come to the school that night..." She says as she looks back down letting out her tears. And I look at her sadly.

"I know you won't believe this, but this weird monster attacked us, and I was captured, too." She says in a low shaky voice.

"Well, I believe you, and so does Yuuji. Those weren't monsters. Those were curses." I say as Yuuji nods and Sasaki-senpai looks back up at us.

"That finger was a special-grade cursed object. It had the power to draw other curses to it and make them stronger. So it wasn't your fault." He says.

"It was mine for picking it up." He says his grip on the end of the bed becoming tighter as he looks down, his tone of voice low. Both me and Sasaki looks at him shocked. "Sorry. It'll be all right, though. Someone capable of fixing Iguchi-senpai will be here tomorrow." He finishes.

"Itadori?" Both me and Sasaki-senpai say in unision. "Sorry, Senpai. There's somewhere I need to go." He says as he walks to the door. Sasaki-senpai stands up looking at him, worried. He looks back at her and waves.

"Bye-bye." He says with a smile on his face and then walks out. I look back at Sasaki-senpai and walk up to her grabbing both her hands. "It's going to be alright. It wasn't your fault. ok?" She looks at me and she then hugs me crying harder and I hug her back trying to calm her down.
Timeskip

"Do you still have that finger?" Yuuji asks Gojou as I lean back on the gate. Gojou takes out the finger and hands it to Yuuji. I raise my eyebrow 'Is he going to swallow this one too?'

"Looking at it again, it's pretty disgusting." Yuuji says as Gojou steps back leaning on the wall beside me. Yuuji then swallow the second finger. He closes his eyes as tattoos start appearing on him. He suddenly opens his eyes.

He throws his head down gripping his jacket he starts walking towards the wall on besides me. He then put his head on the wall as he starts laughing lowly I then notice those extra two eyes that also appeared the first time Sukuna took over. He then looks up and sticks his tongue out holding his neck.

"Gross! So gross it's funny." He says still holding his tongue out disgusted.

Both me and Gojou chuckle at this.

'That settles it. It's not just a physical tolerance. He can control himself against Sukuna without issue. We haven't seen someone with talent like that in a thousand years.'

"Something wrong?" He says as he sees us both staring at him. "Oh, it's nothing. I take it this means you've steeled your resolve?" He says.

"Not at all. I'm still wondering why I have to be executed. But I can't just do nothing about the curse." As he finishes he looks over at grandpa can photo that sat there on the side with flowers beside it.

"The last request is gonna be a pain in my ass." He says. He walks over to the exit. "I'll eat every part of Sukuna. I don't care what happens from there." He says as he looks back at me and Gojou. "I've already decided how I'm going to die."

"Nice! I like people like you. Sounds like a hell fun awaits." Gojou says with his goofy smile. As I also return a warm smile towards Yuuji. As much as it hurts knowing that I'd have to see my best friend die so early, I can't just be weak. I'll have to be strong for him!
