The light above the two of you flickered and revealed the face you had been looking for. "what are you doing here-" he asked as you looked at his bruised up face. "I was looking for you-why are you here?" you said with a raised voice but regretted it as you heard banging on the locked door. Dave looked at you and sighed, "Y/N, I'm sorry, I wanted to tell you but it's too late to wait so I'll tell you now," there was another bang in the door as he spoke, "they are after me, they want to take me to the scooping room-" your eyes widened, was that where funtime foxy was going to take you too? You felt your eyes water as you imagined losing Dave due to some stupid robots wanting a skin suit to cosplay in. "Hey, hey its okay, don't worry." Dave said as he grabbed you and pulled you into a hug to hide his own sadness. "You are going to die-" you said in tears. Dave let out a long sigh, "no no, I won't I always come back." he said as he pulled away to look at you with a painted smile. "no you won't, they will take over you or something-I don't want to be alone.." you said as he wiped your tears away for you. He looked at you and held your hand as he shook his head, "I'm not going anywhere Y/N," you heard some footsteps coming from somewhere nearby, "I will be by your side, it will just take time before I come back." you looked at his hand holding yours and then looked back at him, "and how do I know you will come back?"

Dave smiled as he looked at you and waited for the footsteps made by an animatronic to fade away before answering, "Because you are something different Y/N-you haven't left yet, surprisingly. You lived through such pain caused by me and yet you are still here. I want to help you as much as you have helped me.." The two of you looked at the door and stepped into the shadows as you heard another bang on the door and some metal footsteps once again. The two of you looked back at eachother in the dark and carried on the conversation by whispering.."I'm afraid I don't have much time left." Dave whispered sounding sad as you noticed his eyes tearing up, "yet I have something to say, before they take me away.." he carried on as you felt his cold hand hold yours once again, making your cheeks a pink colour. The light stopped flickering and the banging stopped, for now. "I don't know how to say this-I don't say this often." he said as he looked at where the light was and then back at you. "Y/N I.." there was another bang on the door.

"oh for fucks sake!" he yelled as he turned to face the door. "couldn't you just deactivate them?" you asked as he turned back to face you. "That won't work, I have tried. They know what I do and when I do it now, they are too smart. I can't change what I planned to do anyways, they just know too much now." he said before taking a long sigh. "I should stop avoiding this topic," he whispered to himself a bit too loudly. He looked up at you and opened his mouth to speak but then closed it and stomped his leg on the floor, "it's too hard!" he said out loud in anger. You stepped towards him and smiled faintly, "it's okay, it's sometimes better not to say anyth-" you stopped talking as Dave pulled you closer to himself and his lips touched yours. You thought you were going to melt as the light stopped working and your face went bright red. You felt like in the FNAF 6 fire, burning and melting away. Dave pulled his face away from yours and hugged you tightly.

"please don't hate me", he said in a worried tone as he waited for you to speak. You hugged him back as you smiled faintly as you said "I won't". There was a bang on the door again, this time with more force then last time. "I love you-" Dave whispered in your ear as he kept his arms wrapped around you, keeping you close for the time he had left. You smiled at the words you have been waiting for. "love you too." you managed to say without turning into a tomato. "I'll have to go soon." Dave said again, breaking the happy moment. You looked at him and sighed, you couldn't keep him forever.. Dave stepped away and stepped closer to the door. You were about to say goodbye but you grabbed his hand and pulled him back, "can I go with you?!" you said out loud and Dave's eyes widened. He looked at you and shook his head, "I don't want you to get hurt. You already are-.." he said, gesturing to your stomach and leg. He looked at the table and grabbed some bandages out of the box and wrapped the bandages around you. "You will get hurt though-" you said as he finished helping you. He smiled faintly, "I'm lucky to have someone who cares for me, don't worry about me Y/N, I have been through worse." he said as you let go of his hand. "you go home and wait for me, I should be back in a week."you shook your head, "we can escape together!". Dave took a moment to process the idea but then responded with "no, I wish it was that easy though. We could be alone together for once, no one to tear us apart-sadly you chose someone who is wanted around these premises, and they won't let go."

"can't you just teleport us somewhere safe?" you asked as Dave laughed. "if I could, I would have done that already." there was another bang on the door and some boxes tumbled down from the stack of items in front of the door. "It's time for me to go." Dave said. The two of you looked at eachother once again and Dave kissed you before going towards the door, "I love you, don't forget that." he said before putting the items away from the door and leaving the room to leave you alone.. "I love you too-"
