On my usual route home, I walk slowly. I take in my surroundings.

Trees.

Bits of snow.

Blood.

Possible victims.

Nothing prepared me for the overwhelming scent of it. I felt helpless. Panic washed over me. I knelt down near a tree, breathing heavily. It was about to take over.

My eyes went cold. My breath slowed. I stood and gazed around me. No one saw it. I could just taste my next meal. But, I had to be quick. Daylight was about to break.

I stood near a building. It was time. My target was locked. I met up with her. (I prefer females) She smelled just delightful. She looked up at me shocked as if she'd seen her worst fear. Maybe I was that.

"H-hello", she says her hand jittering.

"Hello", I say boldly.

"Um... What do you want?", her voice cracks.

"One simple thing", I say chuckling softly.

I grab her from behind and drag her to a nearby ally. It reminds me so much of how I became this way. Her face was stiff with shock. I unleashed my fangs and she gasped. The next thing I knew, she was gone. Her body motionless. All I could see was two gaping holes in her neck, that I produced.

I walked away as if nothing happened. After all, no one saw anything. I proceed home just before the first specks of sunshine show. Oh how I wish to be able to feel the sun against my skin again. The warmth of it.

Instead of being cold.

Numb.

Hungry.

In a strange way, I feel remorseful. Why am I killing people? Why can't I be normal? Its because of Blue. ( She in Chap. 1) She did this to me. I can't turn back now. But, when will someone understand me? Can I trust people?

All these questions and no answers. Or rather no wanted answers. I slide into my neatly made coffin. Pulling it over me, I snuggle into it.
