Chap 9: How could you forget?

Error coughed up more blood as parts of him dusted. Tears running down his cheeks, his friends- or what he thought were his friends attacked him. They tried to kill him and they hurt him with bad.... the people who he saw as family just betrayed him. Why didn't they confirm on what happened? Why didn't they ask him why he did what he did? Why don't they remember why!? Error only cried more, the cold ground actually felt comforting to his wounds. The people he trusted just tried to execute him by rapid gun fire. He didn't want to hurt them, he still cared for them but why!? Why why why why why!? Was all Error could ask himself, why did they hurt him too? Error sobbed loudly as the tears burnt his cheeks, just as the streaks of tears that gave him his strings did.

His family worked with his enemies... at least blue didn't try to really attack him. Error looked up at the stars, claiming down slightly. He always felt so calm and happy looking at the stars, like they were something he loved forever. The one thing he could see even when blind. He winced more as his mounds bled, the rush calming down and revealing the true pain. The sweet release of Death wouldn't embrace him at any time because of fate... who always kept him just barely alive to be in pain. She usually just threw him into the Anti Void for sometime to lay with his wounds and heal him when he had a job to do. But, a soft glow of green magic went over his open wounds and healed him to the point he could move around with little pain.

"HuH... i GuEsS fAtE hAs FeElInGs SoMeTiMeS." Error said as he sat up, coughing slightly. He looked up at the glowing sky, all the bright and flashing tet soft and calm colors. It all went together, he lived the stars so much. Error even wants to be a star deep down "JuSt LiKe A sTaR, bEaUtIfUl, FrEe, AnD lOvEd By MaNy." He said, he sobbed more. "My TrUe DrEaM... i WaNnA bE a StAr... BuT i KnOw I cAn NeVeR bE lIkE oNe." He cried, shaking his head slightly. Error looked down at the dark and empty Void.... it felt as if it was calling him. "Come Error~ be free~ End all the pain with the Void! It'll be the only thing to work~" It seemed to say.

Error looked at it more, he had tried to die many times before. He tried stabbing his knitting needles through his skull, he tried to make different sans or Ink kill him, the gang already tried poison the first time they met him so that wouldn't work... he tried burning, chopping of limbs, hanging, anything but.... jumping into the void. He was always to scared and thought that if he died now his friends would from the balance as well. But he couldn't think of anything else but jumping at the moment.

Nightmare growled loudly and struggled to get free from Errors strings, they were string and made of magic so it was to hard. Ink was just barely able to reach his broomie and put red paint which acted like acid on the strings, burning them off and dropping him. He did the same to the bad guys gang and star sans team as well to set them free, being careful to not burn them. Nightmare landed "Let's go I know where he is." He growled and opened a portal, Ink open one for his team and they all went through. Appearing on the cliff of outer tale where Error stood by the edge, looking up at the stars.

"Error! This is the end of the line! Come with us peacefully or be eliminated!" Ink announced. Error slowly turned around, tears falling down his face. Everyone was taken aback, the Knowledge of him being an entity with feelings looming over them. They all felt horrible for what they had done but Nightmare barely let up. "Error. You're coming with us-" he tried to say but was cut off by a glitching scream. "HOw COuLd YOu FoRGeT!? HOw COuLd YOu FoRGeT!? HOw COuLd YOu FoRGeT!? WHY!? WHy DId YoU FoRGeT!?" Error sobbed, holding his hand up to his skull. "IT WAsN'T ME!!! I TOlD YoU SO mANY TiMES!!!!" He sobbed more.

It suddenly hit the gang, it wasn't him, he was being controlled. "E-error..." Horror said. "We're so sorry." Killer finished. Blue stepped forward "W-we can go get you healed and find a way to help this..." He said. Error took a step back which made Dream realize what he was going to do "Blue! Don't go any farther! Error please! Just come quietly and we'll help! Don't do it." Dream said, lulling blue back a bit which made everyone realize and freak out. "Error, don't you dare." Nightmare said. Ink looked at him and held his hand out "We can find another way." He said. Error just shook his head "HoW cOuLd YoU fOrGeT...?" He said quieter and stepped back more, everyone freaking out more.

"DON'T!!!!" Dust screamed as Cross was ready to jump. Error sniffled "T-tAkE cArE oF tHe ChArA's FoR mE bLuE, tElL tHeM dUnClE eRrOr LoVeS tHeM aNd He'S sOrRy, So So SoRrY." Error said before putting jus arms out and falling backwards. Before he closed his eyes he could see everyone running the edge and trying to reach for him but to late. "ERROR!!!!!! NO!!!!!!" They all screamed as he fell. Error smiled softly as he fell, finally he'd be free, he'd become a star in the sky. A few tears fell from his sockets, he never knew death's embrace was so warm on his broken and cold body.

Error didn't care as the Void tore him adam to adam and put him back together. He felt something warm, he felt calm happy and free. ~"My child.... I'm sorry it came to this but you're finally free my child. I love you."~ A soft voice spoke to him, he felt a light kiss on his forehead before he felt the softness of something beneath him. How could they forget?
