"Hey bro, come help me get the drinks and the rest of the fireworks." Kuroo told Bokuto while the rest of you kept playing like little kids in the sand.
You saw them walk inside the house and waited for them to be far away before getting closer to Mei.

"Hey Mei, I'm gonna talk to Kuroo and tell him everything, except obviously for the crush part." You whispered.

"Go get it girl, I know you can do it, I'll keep Akaashi and Kenma here so don't worry about that." she supported.

"The thing is I don't know how to separate him from Bokuto." You replied.

"Just wait for them to get the things and then tell Bokuto that Akaashi needs him for something, I'll take care of the rest." she winked giving you a thumbs up.

"Thanks a lot, you're really the best!"
you hugged her and went inside the house as well.

'I'm gonna be quick, I'll just tell him I'm dating his friend and that's all, there shouldn't be any problems right?' your thoughts were interrupted by the laughs of the two guys who were preparing the drinks in the kitchen.

"So you're saying you'll confess to Kenma even if I don't win the Bet?" Bokuto said making you feel confused since you didn't know what they were talking about.
You didn't want to eavesdrop their conversation but something was telling you that it might be important so you just wanted to listen a bit more.

" Yes, I was actually going to do it during this trip but first I wanted to know how were things going between you and (y/n)" Kuroo said.

'so now they're talking about me?'

"Um well everything has been good, I've tried my best to win her heart and I know I already did." Bokuto bragged.

"But you're not dating right? I knew the Bet was going to be hard for you, there's no way you would be able to win her heart, maybe you're not her type."Kuroo shrugged.

"What do you mean by that? well for your information we're already dating, so that means I won and you'll have to confess to Kenma." Bokuto said, making Kuroo shut up because of the shock.

'Huh? bet? so I was a bet?' you felt the urge to cry, but not because of sadness but because of the betrayal you felt. But there was no way you were going to crumble because of this, you needed answers before misunderstanding once more.

"Mind explaining what this bet is about? " you interrupted both guys who looked at you in shock.

"Oh hey pretty girl, um.. for how long have you been there?" Kuroo asked taking side glances at Bokuto who was just as shocked at him.

"Don't pretty girl me, I've heard everything so you better explain this bet or I'll start throwing punches at you, and I'm not kidding." you said in a serious tone.

"It okay bro, I'll tell her." Bokuto sighed getting closer to you. "Um baby, you gotta promise you won't be mad."

"That's something I'll decide after hearing the whole story." the serious look on your face made Bokuto shiver, you've never been this angry in front of him, not even Kuroo had seen you like this since it was rather unusual for you to get angry.

"Um well, I'll leave you guys to it... so I'm gonna go now and.."

"Don't you dare move Tetsurou." You glared at him and he just stayed where he was.

"Damn, of you're using my first name you must be really angry." he commented earning another glare from you. "I better just shut up"

"Um well, as you heard, Kuroo and I made a bet sometime ago. To put it simply it was just a game between us and it was just to fool around, we were not planning on harming anyone or something like that so you shouldn't mind a lot about minor details but if you want I could tell you but I wouldn't recommend that since-" Bokuto began babbling.
