Can you hear my pain?
Can you see my pain?
Can you feel my pain?
I don't feel the same
I learn and I grow
But i still don't know
How to express how I feel
Because it hurts
But when you ignore my pain
Or you think I've gone insane
It makes me feel so much worse
All the tears I have shedded
All the words I hold back
All the smiles that I fake
to pretend that I'm happy
Every feeling I write down
Every photo you've seen where i smiled
Brings me back to square one
Where it still hurts
Every rule that I break
Every smile that i fake
Takes me back to my bad days
I'm pray and I pray
I still wake up each day
Hoping for better days
Don't we all?
I want to make someone proud
I hope one day I can be loud
Speak up for myself
Take care of my health
Have my prayers heard
Find the light
Shine bright
Be stronger
Feel stronger
But for now
Please understand that it hurts
