All For You

Another loss
Another life taken
Both you and I were in this together
But you're the one who's gone
I'm ashamed
I'm ashamed of my mistakes
I take the blame
I take the blame for all the shade
The way people look at me in these streets
I feel weaker when I speak
Trying to justify myself
But in the end, I'm still wrong

I'm wrong in every way
Wish we could go back to that day
I wish I could've saved you from that bullet
But now it's too late
I did take a bullet but not the one that killed you
Not the one that took the life of an innocent soul
Life goes on
That's what everyone keeps saying
But as life goes on
I still think of you
As guilty as I feel everyday
I still think of you
But at the end of the day, I'm still wrong

You shouldn't have had to suffer
It should've never been you
But it was
And what can I do other than feel guilty
Take it
Take the shame
Wake up everyday knowing a person is gone instead of you
Accept it
Accept the fact that there will never be another one of you
Avoid danger
Never make the same mistake again

Years have past
Nothing ever lasts
Tell someone who doesn't know that you love them Make them feel loved
We all know tomorrow is never promised
Move on but never forget
Remember and never forget
From now on make wiser choices
Think before you do
Blame yourself if you want to
But it's only going to torture you

These are the things that I've been told
This is the story that I wrote
As the days get colder
And everyone gets older
Some things I do is observe
I Hustle, I Win, I Live
And I do it all for you
