As the darkness of the night started to creep in, and the light went away, Marco took my hand in his and led me to a hot air balloon. He then looked me straight into the eyes and whispered " do you trust me ?" and I looked up to him and said " Yes, i do.". He then lit the burner and we started moving upwards. I was always terrified of heights so I felt scared and my heart started to race. When Marco noticed my anxiety he held me in his arms and i squeezed my arm round his waist and inhaled in familiar scent. He always had a way of calming me down without even saying anything and that always amazed me. Wen i had started to feel calm he then placed a kiss at the top of my head and stoked my hair.

"You're alright baby. I just need you to do something for me" he said to me

"What do you want me to do?"

" Open your eyes. I'm here with you so nothing will happen. Remember you said you trusted me."

"Okay." i said as I started to open my eyes slowly. I saw the clouds in the sky. They looked so soft like cotton candy and I felt like laying on top of them, and they were lit up with different colours : purple, pink, white and orange .  Then I looked beneath me and I saw the ocean. The little light from the sun was like a torch light and the sea was a mirror which reflected the hot air balloon on its waves.

Everything was so peaceful and I wasn't scared anymore. Everywhere was still but I could still hear the sound of the waters clashing with each other. I wished I could freeze that moment in the sands of time. Then i looked back and saw Marco staring at me with wonder in his eyes and he stepped closer to me and gripped my waist. Now my face was barely an inch to his and i could feel his warm breath on me. He then closed the space between us and kissed me. I literally felt sparks fly through my body. The way his lips moved over mine and his tongue swirled with mine was truly amazing. It was the perfect moment
