Chapter 3

        The first thing I heard was a crash. Groaning, I opened my eyes and a bright white light shined into my eyes, forcing me to close them to keep the pain in my head from growing. Another crash sounded and I sat up so I wouldn't have to stare into the light. What is making that damn sound? I thought to myself.

        "No! You are no longer allowed to see her! You are the cause of this!" i heard a voice yell.

        "Jeff common! I told you that wasn't me! I was possessed! You know Zalgo hates me being here!" Someone else shouted.

        "I don't care! You are a threat to her!" Jeff, I'm guessing, yelled back. I watched at Jeff came into the room I was in and slammed the door. "Oh... you're awake... YOUR AWAKE!" Jeff ran out screaming for Slender.

        "Uh... ok then?" I said confused. Slender came in seeming relieved. He sat in the seat next to my bed and gave me some food.

        "How are you feeling dear?" Slender asked. I took the tray of food and sighed.

        "I'm fine daddy... just... a little shaken up is all." I replied. Slender nodded.

        "That is to be expected... but what were you doing with Ben all the way out there?"

        "H-he asked me to purify his lake... the poor pond was full of sewage..." My voice cracked. I care for all sorts of water. It's sad when humans just dump their waste into the water without a care for wildlife. I heard Slender sigh then stand.

        "Well... Ben wants  to speak with you... is that ok?" I nodded and Slender left, letting Ben in.

        "Hi Ben..." I said quietly. I felt uneasy around him but some how... I knew it wasn't his fault.

        "Swan! I'm so so so so SO sorry! I swear I didn't mean for that to happen! I-" I cut him off.

        "Ben it's ok. I knew you didn't mean to." We smiled at each other until Ben's face changed form relieved to excited.

        "Oh! Once your able to walk, I want to show you something! I promise this time you wont die. It's just in the back yard." I giggled and ate my seaweed, while Ben gave me a disgusted look. Once I finished I stood, feeling perfectly fine.

        "Alright, lets go!" Ben smiled and took my hand, leading me down stairs and out the back door. There, I saw the most beautiful little horse ever! She gad brown fur with white around her muzzle and hooves. Her mane and tail was black and she had dark brown eyes.

        "Beautiful!" I said, walking up to the horse. I held out my hand and the horse put her muzzle in my hand. I giggled and Ben chuckled.

        "Her name's Epona. She's actually Link's horse. When I use her she turns into a skeletal horse with iron armour." Ben said, almost proud. He too was petting her now and he seem to care a lot about this horse.

        "Well she's lovely. I'd love to see her in skeletal form sometime." I giggled. Ben smirked and grabbed her mane. He tugged on it hard and jumped on her back, though Epona didn't seem effected by it. Guess it's true that horses are numb where their mane is. Suddenly, Epona had a dark green light surround her. Once it faded, Epona was now a beautiful skeletal horse with decorative iron armor. I gawked in amazement at the horse until I heard angry shouts behind me. I turned to see Link and Dark Link rushing over.

        "Crap... the goody two shoes brothers found us." Ben chuckled. Epona seemed to neigh in agreement.

        "Ben! You know not to change my horse unless I say you can!" Link growled.
