Ren's POV:

"Okay, they are taking forever." I whined to mostly Kyoya. Nobody came near me since the outburst.

"Just wait a bit longer, Ren."Kyoya soothed.

"I'll be in the kitchen. Food making is my specialty. What do you want?"

"OH, a stew pot!"Tamaki.

"No."I sent daggers at him.

"How about a..."Hikaru.
Korua continued, "a jelly bun."

"No."

"How about cake?"

"As much as I want to say yes, NO."

"Why not make rice curry? I noticed Hinata bought some extra on the way home." Kyoya.

"Might be a bit difficult but I can do that. A challenge is always accepted." I looked off thoughtfully.

"Mommy. Why does she like you so much?!" Tamaki whined.

"Becuase Mommy doesn't get on the neighbor's nerves."

"Neighbor's" Honey asks.

"Why. I don't understand the family thing. I never had any. True, Hinata's family took me in but there are some things that is wrong."

"You don't have parents."Honey was almost in tears.

"Oh, honey... listen my parents died before I knew them. Around that time I met Hinata and we became sisters. Soon after that her parents adopted me. I lived a carefree life."

"Then why do you always wear those jackets or band-aids."The twins ask in unison.

"Private things. Girl things. Perverts." I walk into the kitchen.

After a while I needed a new bowl, I stood on my tipy-toes. I just couldn't reach it. I jump a couple of times. I hate being so short! Why can't I be tall for once. Suddenly, a hand reaches for the bowl and brings it down to me. I grab it happily. I turn to Kyoya who wore a sly smirk. I grabbed a piece of chocolate and shoved it in his mouth.

"Not as sweet as you, my dear."

"Haruhi will you go check on Hinata for me?!"

"Yeah, sure."

"Kyoya, this is not the ti-" He cuts me off by slamming his lips on mine. It was short and sweet. Yet, long and passionate. And, prefect and loving. Something I longed for. I could take the guys trying to get me alone. I'm strong but I had to always be there for Hinata. She couldn't handle it like I could. I closed my heart for only those who listen. Kyoya just so happen to be one of those.

He backs away and leans on the counter. "If you are staying then hand me the pot."

"Ren?"Hinata's voice. I know it anywhere.

"Yes."

"I have something to tell you."

"What is it? Does it involve chocolate?"

"No. But me and Mori are going out." I dropped the pan I was holding. She's growing up. Soon, she won't need me to fight off all the boys for here. Soon, I will be left alone. Again. Kyoya places his hand on my shoulder. No, I have Kyoya. Even if we aren't going out.

"Hinata! That's Great!"

But I still have bad feelings about being left alone. But I am still happy for her.
