Chapter 14

"ANTI-END! DROP TO SOLID'S LOCATION!" Nozel said as the Triad and Nozel jumped to the west side of Kikka. Asta and everyone else saw them dropping and they knew that they were the real deal. Asta wants to go there to help whoever is in trouble but Noelle is also a bad opponent for him.

"Let team Solid back off, challenge The End with as few men as possible because he'll definitely kill many." Mereo said and Nozel replied with a loud yes. "This might be the last time that I'll kill someone." Julius said and Licita heard it from a distance. "Should we interfere if things go wrong?" Yami asked. "Let's see. If someone in our team jumps in then we'll help." Licita replied.

The 4 landed to the ground safely. "Are you sure that we'll let the three use the Destro Prototype?" Nozel asked. "Yeah, they are well trained especially in enduring pain. They can manage to use it efficiently." Mereo replied. The triad was out for blood, they wanted to kill Julius because of one event that happened in the past.

"Oi Vanica, Zenon, are you sure that you two can handle the pain that the Destro Prototype would give? I'm positive with Dante but are you two sure?" Nozel asked. "Yeah, I'm willing to die just to kill this bastard." Vanica replied and Zenon just said "yes."

Asta was about to hit Noelle but Noelle managed to deflect. "What happened after we fought Siren? How did she become this strong?" Asta thought. "You know, Mr. Shadow, I'm not the same woman that I was back then." Noelle said and Asta listened to her story while fighting.

"I WAS A RECKLESS WOMAN BACK THEN! I WANTED TO KILL GHOULS! I DESPISE THEM FOR KILLING MY TRUE MOM!" Noelle shouted as she swings her newly formed axe. It cut one of Asta's kagune but Asta regenerated it in an instant. "I WAS ATTACKED BY A GHOUL! I WAS ABOUT TO DIE BUT MY BOYFRIEND SAVED ME! HE DIDN'T HAVE ANY EXTRAORDINARY POWERS BUT HE STOOD UP FOR ME!" Noelle said.

"Your boyfriend must be crazy for attacking a ghoul just like that."

"He is! He pushes me to be a better investigator! He made me a smarter human. I thought I was born to kill ghouls but life is much complicated than just that."

"Do you mind if I ask your boyfriend's name?"

"You don't need to know it."

Noelle and Asta met with their weapons. Noelle landed a hit on Asta's stomach but it didn't pierce. Asta flinched because of the pain as he collapsed to the ground. "I'm exhausted after fighting Fuego! What should I do? Do I use my kakuja again? No! I might kill Noelle if I lose control! It's still incomplete!" Asta thought as he stood up, holding his stomach. "Mr. Shadow isn't that strong, why are they over rating you?" Noelle asked.

Asta and Noelle started to clash again and Noelle landed a shot on Asta's jaw that woke him up instead of sending him to sleep. "You're strong!" Asta said as he felt that his mask was about to drop. "SHIT!" Asta then covered his face and was now fighting Noelle with his kagune. "You really don't want to show your face huh!" Noelle said as she forces Asta to drop his hands.

Asta used his kagune like a spider and climbed a building, which Noelle can't climb immediately so he can fix his own. Noelle was frustrated that she didn't manage to kill Shadow but she's positive that she can do it so she climbed the building.

"Let's see, do I have an extra mask? I HAVE NONE! I NEED TO GO HOME BUT HOW?" Asta shouted. He scanned the area and he realized that he wiped out a whole team by himself so he rushed straight towards the bar.

Noelle reached the roof just to see a destroyed mask there. "FUCK YOU, SHADOW!" Noelle shouted. "MOM, I ALMOST KILLED SHADOW! HE GOT AWAY!" Noelle said in the walkie talkie. "Nice work Noelle, that's forgivable since Shadow is known for his movement. Help in the west, your original team is there." Mereo said and Noelle saluted.

"Team Langris, be aware. Shadow might appear in your place." Mereo said and Langris laughed. "Shadow will lose his life to me." Langris said. "Stupid, Fuego and Rill died by his hands. He cut Nozel's arm and managed to escape Noelle's grasp. Be careful with that bastard." Mereo said.

Asta managed to enter the bar without getting detected. He entered the base as he saw the dead bodies of Finral, Gauche, and Henry. Asta was confused. He was sure that Henry was killed when they fought with Rill.

"They are twins, the one that fought with Charmy was the first born twin." Someone whispered from Asta's back and he realized that it was Licita. "How come I don't know anything about sir Henry?" Asta asked. "Son, you were always away. How can you know what's happening in the base?" Licita said as he understood. "WHY ARE YOU HERE MOM? EVACUATE!" Asta suddenly changed. "Huh, your mood swings are incredible. I came here because I sniffed out a familiar smell. Julius is in trouble. He might need our help." Licita said.

Asta was surprised. Julius = In Trouble? It doesn't match to his image of Julius. Asta quickly grabbed a mask and wore it. "Oi Asta, do a great job!" A tired Liebe appeared. "YEAH! I'LL FIGHT FOR YOU!" Asta said as Licita and Asta jumped from the bar to Julius' location.

"Asta, we might break the plan but we need to save Julius." Licita said.

"Everyone, hold out for a while. I'm currently near the bar. I'll kill the 4 tailed beast and Shadow so you'll get a smoother operation against The End." Mereo said. "Where are you, mom?" Noelle asked. "I'm near the bar and enemy's on sight." Mereo said with a crazy smile.

Mereo threw one of her spear quinques towards Licita's back but Asta blocked it. "You think I didn't smell that coming?" Asta said as the two made eye contact.

I realized that Randall was already dead in this story so I changed team Randall to team Langris. Also note that Langris and Finral aren't brothers in this story. Love y'all, God Bless and Peace Out!
