Chapter 12

Noelle rushed to Mereo's office but before she enters the building, multiple tanks were prepared and the place was already empty. They made everyone evacuate to the next city as a full lockdown was declared on Kikka, the Black Bulls' base location. Hundreds, if not, thousands of soldiers were already prepared outside.

Noelle entered the building and went straight for Mereoleona's office. She said hi to her mom and gave her a kiss. "Listen, Noelle. Take care of this quinque, it is an improved version of your Murasakiha because it's much more efficient and light. It can also transform in 3 different forms. I'll follow you guys later to the location of the attack." Mereo said. "For the meantime, follow orders from Nozel or Rill." Mereo added. "Take care, mom." Noelle said but Mereo disagrees. "No, take care, Noelle." Mereo said as she sent off Noelle to Nozel's team.

They were gathered outside and Nozel was standing at a platform. "EVERYONE, WE'LL BE SEPARATED INTO 5 GROUPS! TEAM RILL, TEAM LANGRIS, TEAM SOLID, TEAM GUELDRE AND ANTI END!" Nozel said from the platform. "THERE WERE 40 GUYS THAT WERE GIVEN QUINQUES! GROUP YOURSELVES INTO 10 AND JOIN A GROUP!" Nozel shouted.

"Special Investigators are the only one allowed for this Anti End team. Noelle is an exception because she's a new comer and she has incomparable skills." Nozel said and everyone saluted. "TAKE 250 AND ABOVE SOLDIERS FOR EACH TEAM AS WELL! WE NEED RANGED ATTACKERS!" Nozel shouted and everyone went into position.

"WE WANT THIS TO BE OUR LAST BIG FIGHT AGAINST GHOULS! FIGHT FOR THE CLOVER KINGDOM!" Nozel shouted as everyone cheered. Tanks started to move and everyone entered a vehicle that will bring them to their locations.

Anti End-Stand by in a Helicopter.

Mereoleona was on her own. She will only be contacted in times of emergency.

Noelle was testing her quinque and it seems that there are 3 forms that her quinque takes.

A red and blue katana
A purple spear
A purple axe

She wanted to test it out but she knew that it'll be the best to have it's debut against one of the most notorious ghouls in history.

After an hour of preparation, it was already 7:00 pm. They were prepared to fight but there wasn't a sign of a human in the bar via the helicopter camera. "Team Gueldre, storm the place. ASAP!" Nozel shouted as the team gathered and rushed towards the bar. "SO YOU GUYS WERE HIDING HERE HUH!" Gueldre shouted as they were about to explode the wall of the bar when something that they didn't anticipated appeared.

A group of ghouls with tails attacked the group. "THE TAILED BEASTS!? I THOUGHT THEY WERE NOW DISBANDED!" Nozel asked. "This'll be harder than expected!" Mereo thought. Pure chaos happened at the entrance of the bar as the tailed beasts attacked team Gueldre. The tailed beasts managed to kill 150 soldiers without quinque and 3 dudes with quinque but unfortunately they were wiped out.

"Dang, they failed. IT'S TIME TO SHOW WHAT THE BLACK SWORDSMEN ARE MADE OF!" Yami's old team shouted as they now attack team Gueldre. The reinforcements wiped out the soldiers without quinque but Gueldre and 2 more quinque users survived. "Leave this to me, Sir Julius." Liebe said as he appeared out of nowhere. "I DIDN'T EXPECT THE SS RANKED GHOUL, CLOVER'S DEVIL, WAS HERE!" Gueldre said as he took the first move and attacked Liebe but he dodged it.

"Oi Nacht, can I slice that ham into pieces?" Jack asked Nacht from a distance. "I'll tell you when you'll jump to that battle." Nacht said and Jack nodded. Liebe managed to kill one of the quinque users leaving Gueldre and his other pal fighting Liebe. "THIS IS BAD MEREO, TEAM GUELDRE IS ALMOST WIPED OUT!" Nozel said. "Don't worry, Gueldre will manage." Mereo said as the comms ended.

Liebe and Gueldre were exchanging blows and they didn't even noticed the one soldier with a quinque. The soldier managed to land a hit on Liebe that successfully cut his left hand off. Gueldre raised his weapon and was about to swing when a loud voice was heard. "NOW OR NEVER, JACK!" A man from a distance shouted.

A lanky man appeared from behind Gueldre that sliced his torso in half. "Keke, thanks, sir Morgen's friend." Liebe said. "Keke, I want to slice this ham up." Jack replied. "Hey, you're copying my keke." Liebe said and Jack laughed. "I've been saying keke the whole time." Jack replied as they killed the soldier easily.

"Team Gueldre wiped out. No major Black Bull casualty. It seems that they got back up." Nozel said and Mereo nodded.

"Dante, Vanica, and Zenon are in that chopper. Just send them off if you think we're failing." Mereo said. "Are you sure that they can change the flow of this fight?" Nozel asked and Vanica laughed. "Nozel darling, I've been killing ghouls since I was a child." Vanica said which made Noelle disgusted. "Don't call Nozel darling, for god's sake." Noelle said. "You don't want to be my sister? Aww man." Vanica said which made the siblings laugh.

Asta was running quickly. He realized that he doesn't want to see his mother to die even though their ideals are different. Licita is still Asta's mother after all. It was already 7:00 pm and he still hasn't reached Kikka yet.

Yuno and the remaining Golden Dawn were watching from the television in a near city. They will go there once the fight turns bad. "ASTA, DON'T DIE ON ME!" Yuno said which made Charlotte worry for Yami as well.

"Don't worry, they'll manage. They are undefeated after all." William said to his team for them to feel safe.
