Cue soundtrack: Pacific Rim Main Theme.

"Marco, Kokoro, your orders are to rally up with Raleigh and Mako and provide support to them where needed. Do not hesitate to engage, but watch for friendlies. We've detected category three Kaiju in the AO." Stacker said over the comms system as the helicopters dropped you in the area.

"Just what I like to hear." You replied with a cocky tone.

"Equipping the machine pistol." You said confidently.

"Equipping the dagger." Kokoro said confidently as Raleigh and Mako's Jaeger came into sight, they seem to be badly damaged and in need of assistance.

"Firing!" You yelled, spraying ammunition at the Kaijus which drew blood while also angering them. They rushed towards Echelon Hunter furiously. You ducked under one which attempted to leap at you, while simultaneously slitting the throat of another one which tried going for the legs.

"Piece of cake." You said, turning around to kick the Kaiju running up behind you and proceeding to fire micro-missiles into its abdomen, killing it.

Then, you spotted the category three Kaiju in the area, and there's a lot of them.

"Stacker! We need backup! There are too many of them! I count five category three's, and potentially a category four!" You said anxiously.

"Backup is already on the way! Just hold out for two more minutes!" He said seriously.

"Gotcha." You replied seriously.

"Understood!" Kokoro added in, releasing a nervous sigh as she opened fire with the secondary fire mode to destroy a cluster of smaller, category one Kaiju.

"It's going to be okay, Kokoro!" You said upon hearing the sigh.

A category three Kaiju managed to get its grip on Echelon Hunter, and ragdoll it around before throwing it two hundred meters away, giving chase before your momentum came to a stop. Kokoro is knocked out from the impact.

"No… not again! I won't let this happen again!!"

"Kokoro's brain activity declined. Where is the backup!?" Liwen asked Stacker sternly.

"It's almost there, one minute…"

"No… Kokoro, you have to wake up! Get up!" You yelled from inside the cockpit.

No reply.

You then took another gamble and started manipulating the machine on your own, screaming in pain as it feels like your nervous system is getting ripped out of your body.
Moving the sword, you impaled the Kaiju, which is furiously thrashing to get closer. You opened fire with the micro-cannon while kicking the creature away, sending the Kaiju back enough to give you time to breathe, when Gipsy Danger gripped the creature from behind, lifting it and slamming its head into the ground with enough force to break the neck. It remained motionless, and so did your Jaeger.

"Fuck!" You screamed in pain as blood started leaking out of your mouth. You are starting to lose consciousness when your cockpit opened up, revealing medics who drug you and Kokoro out of the cockpit and into one of the drop-off helicopters. The last thing you saw was three more Jaegers, containing Ichigo and Goro, Hiro and Zero-Two, and Zorome and Mitsuru.

End song.

"Team, be advised, Marco and Kokoro are down. Echelon Hunter is returning to base." Stacker said with a dire tone.

You got treated again for piloting a Jaeger without the help of a co-pilot, sustaining internal hemorrhaging and minor nerve damage while Kokoro is being treated for a broken rib and a major concussion sustained during the collision.
